I'm not sure whether the law uses the phrase hit and run literally, or if it applies even when no contact was made.
It's also possible the car made a slight swerve to avoid a pothote or roadkill or something, and didn't actually leave their lane, but the rider still got spooked and swerved into...

Black ford escape veers into oncoming lane, motorcyclist forced into ditch to avoid collision and is seriously injured. Police need public's help to identify driver.
I say go for it but you need to wake up very early to get there and back in one day. I was coming home from Timmins and decided to make a slight detour to try that road.
Today I rode hwy 533 for the first time. Wow! When it comes to technical riding this is probably one of the best roads in Ontario. 50 kms of twisties, no side streets or driveways, and almost no traffic. Too bad it's so far away.
Since I was in the area I also went on hwy 656 which goes from...
Here's my musings on my experiences owning both:
I went from a sport bike (GSX-S1000F) to an adv bike (KTM 790) and now I'm going back to a sport touring bike (already bought it but it hasn't been delivered yet). I just couldn't get used to adventure bikes, they feel so big and bulky to me and...
I tried a pair of cheap padded shorts from amazon and they did nothing for me in terms of comfort. Not sure if the expensive ones are any better. I just take a break once in a while and shift aroudn on my seat a lot.
As for the sunglasses, make sure they have UV protection. The cheap ones...
It sounds like a really great ride. Be careful on the 504, I was on it a few weeks ago and there was lots of sand in some of the corners. Might be clean by now, not sure. Also the part of 504 near hwy 620 is closed, there is a detour but it's gravel.
Have you ridden that way? If so what are the roads like?
I'm planning a trip but don't have enough time off work to go to BC so was gonna ride up to Flin Flon and back, something like this:
If you're buying used you're kinda limited to what you can find. You could check Regear in Oshawa. I'd sell you my old fieldsheer textile jacket real cheap but it's a L.
For my next jacket I'm getting one where the waterproofing is built into the shell rather than the kind with the inner liner.
Yeah I'm curious to see what comes of this. It's surprising realtors were able to get away with this for so long. The article mentions they do things much more fairly in the UK and Australia.
