Mayor of Kingstown is dark but a show about prison is gonna be. From the creator of Yellowstone along with a Canadian connection who is co-creator and filmed in the hammer/Burlington areas. Pretty good show. Highly recommend. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Android box helps me with this at times. I do subscribe to various services but it can get out of hand at times. Btw the first 3 episodes are pretty good with some cool guest cameos. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anyone here a cyclist?

GG, I hear you. Studs are necessary and expensive. DIY shortcuts are a fool’s errand. Night riding is a no go too. Fortunately this fella works from home and can sneak out during the day for an hour or so. Cleaning & maintenance of the bike takes some time too. But, god dang it can be fun...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I can’t get comfortable pedalling indoors and not going to blow stacks of cash at the fancy machines that are suppose to keep you interested. So my default is winter riding. Anyone else subjecting themselves to the cold? I find it fun and rewarding and quite a work out. Sent from my iPad...

    Learning to relax

I do find the ride can be an influence to how I ride. It’s no fun scraping pegs on a cruiser and somehow it’s just relaxing to putt around the back roads. You don’t fight it and kinda accept its limitations and enjoy what it is good at, and I find it very relaxing. Sent from my iPhone...

    Any musicians out here?

I have a few pentatonic scales I practice at various areas of the guitar. Lower end to keep my fingers wide, higher end, as the action in higher and needs a little more pressure. I work on them slow and work up the speed and do that for half an hour. Find that keeps my fingers working well and...

    Any musicians out here?

Tiktok has a few content providers that show some engaging methods to learn some songs or scales or progressions that I found helpful. Ive picked up some music books with tab to learn along with an artists album. And lastly, YouTube has been helpful and discouraging at the same time. You see...

    ADV fad

Loved the desert sled when they first came out. This video has pause about pulling the trigger a bit. It’s not a show stopper but, it is a bit of a head scratcher…. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Selling a custom bike

It’s a speciality bike and anyone looking for one likely knows the deal and should know “a guy” or have a shop that is willing to certify it for them as long as it meets their comfort level. The dreamers that don’t know, buy at their own peril IMO. Custom bike are what they are. I wouldn’t...

    ADV fad

I’m gradually turning into the old fart on the porch yelling at the kids to get off my lawn. I love petro powered retro machines that don’t have Tupperware or amo boxes strapped to them. I like the bark of after market exhaust and a bike that looks good parked but, makes me smile every time a...

    Daily sports car?

I’ve got a 2018 Forester with CVT and optional paddle shifters for 6 “gears”. The CVT also has faux shift points instead of the snowmobile drone when accelerating along the on ramps etc. I have never used the paddle to manual shift the vehicle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    ADV fad

Agree 100%. With the increase in adv models to choose from, what has been lost really? Maybe 600/1000 SS bikes but, plenty of cruisers, standards, adv of various displacement and price ranges. Adv bikes are not my cuppa at the present time but, I’m sure I’ll come around in a bit. For now...

    Kids Sporting Activities

Any team sports. Soccer, baseball, hockey etc. Not team sports related, I’ve had 4 out of six involved in Karate. And one involved in Ballet. All had swimming lessons and ride bicycles and enjoy it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Any GTAM'ers have a tiny/micro camper?

The wife and I ended up getting a pop up this season. Just a little one, 1400 lbs dry, 8ft box, Queen and double bed with electric mattress heaters, 3 way fridge, furnace and indoor/outdoor stove. Heading to the Sandbanks this weekend [emoji2]. It’s a 2012 and cost $6k Sent from my iPad...

Curious about side hustles around here.

Fortunately, I drive high school students. Earbuds and eyes closed the whole time. Easy breezy. Elementary kids are the worst. Fight, cry, throw stuff, jump, runs, tattle, yell, talk etc. When you make nice with the route coordinator, you get to cherry pick routes. Sent from my iPad using...

Curious about side hustles around here.

The question for me has always been is the additional income worth the time put in? Assuming the full time gig provides the income and benefits, you will spend time away from your family for the extra funds that can provide you and the family with additional discretionary funds. Does your...
