biltwell gringo (non S version) full face was my first helmet. ive since learned that not being able to raise the shield sucks lol.
still trying to find the 'perfect' helmet that has retro leanings but has shield detents when you move it up/down. i've been riding with my cheap bell qualifier...
i tried using riders share in LA and it was an absolute failure. owners would cancel my reservations at the last minute. happened at least twice. im sure others have had better luck.
i'd stay with the cages any day over riding the TTC ever again lol. as for filtering, i will occasionally do it, especially with street cars (obviously not while they're stopped/boarding people).
i cant believe this city is still stuck with streetcars on tracks that slow everything down. and...
its a pain in the ass to get anywhere in this **** city now. im literally surrounded by construction, barely used bicycle lanes, and ugly ass pylon patios that basically turn every major street into a single lane **** show everywhere.
outside of the golden turtle pho restaurant, ossington is just tourist trash now. just like what queen street has turned into.
i started my riding career about 7 years ago by buying a helmet from town moto. sucks that theyre gone but the owners andrew and marika had moved out of the city...
that thread about the bike failure is mine! to be fair, i've yet to hear or read anything about anyone else with the issue i had.
i've since gotten a replacement bike and it has been running perfectly fine. though i've only got 6k'ish km on it so far while splitting riding duty with my other...
i just did the metro east location a few months ago.
i HATE when i'm being watched for doing something i normally do anyway but this was a lot easier than i had anticipated.
just put your head on a swivel and make sure you're doing full shoulder checks.
depending on the time and day you're...
wherever you go, watch out for the stupid ******* automated cameras.

have i done it? yes. but literally down the street to pick up some burritos or something.
other than that, at a minimum i have regular jeans on (although its questionable whether that even makes a difference vs shorts. i guess the optics just looks better but thats probably it).
honestly knowing the route is useless. they will tell you when to turn way ahead of time. and even if you miss a turn somehow, they'll follow you and will course correct. trust me, you are overthinking it. i just did my m2 exit test a few months ago after being delayed for almost 3 years at one...
yah i dont think its a big surprise. every bike manufacturer is struggling to get younger riders. and tbh i have no idea how a 20 year old kid is supposed to afford a bike + insurance + parking + gear etc. motorcycles just aren't utilitarian here. they're a huge luxury many just can't afford or...
i literally just sold a mustang seat from my ducati. it was fine but i'm one of those rare riders that don't mind stock seats. the previous owner of the seat used it for some small touring and kept you planted more comfortably.
my only gripe with it is that it featured stitching and wasn't...
