    Tire snobs

Handlebars are already as far forward as they will go without hitting the screen for the gauges. Footpegs are lowered 1.5". The seating position feels right. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

@Trials Yes. It will get down into a lean, but it takes a lot more countersteering to do it. I wasn't expecting that compared to my GL650i which is deceptively nimble in comparison. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    Tire snobs

I try to avoid crazy steep drops on a 650 lb bike. I'm a coward that way. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    Tire snobs

What about bar risers? Would that make the bike harder to lean? (2005 Concours 1000) I'm not too worried about it. We haven't gotten to know each other yet Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    Tire snobs

I think he's referring to inexperienced riders that just go wide and ride off the road. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    Tire snobs

I don't mean to take this too far off topic, but what do you mean by feels like riding through glue? I have a new to me bike that seems to need a lot more countersteering effort than my other bike to make it lean into a turn. I assumed it's just a matter of getting used to it, but someone...

    Tire snobs

I've had Kendas that I've worn down to cord and been happy to replace with the same. I've had Michelins that I couldn't wait to get rid of. Like running shoes, when I find a model I like, I stick with it. (No pun intended) Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    Bar muffs

I just got some snowmobile ones from Canadian Tire. I did have to install lever guards to keep the muffs from pushing the brake and clutch when the wind pushed them. Wouldn't be an issue with a full fairing bike Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

ATTN Photographers - Need Camera Recommendations!

That's more than I'd spend on a first camera, but it should work well for you and have a decent resale value if you decide to switch to something else.

ATTN Photographers - Need Camera Recommendations!

This is a lot of information and potential investment for someone who just wants to dip their toes into photography. As mentioned earlier, your iPhone is a pretty good camera in it's own right. The advantage of a dedicated camera is the ability to change lenses, a larger sensor inside the...

ATTN Photographers - Need Camera Recommendations!

I have a 75 to 300 mm lense from an old Pentax film camera. Camera plus two lenses cost $50. With an adapter, I have a sort of equivalent 150 to 600 mm lense on my micro four thirds camera. You have to go fully manual to use it, but it's fun to play around with. Old 50mm lenses are often fast...

ATTN Photographers - Need Camera Recommendations!

I wouldn't go with a pawn shop. They'll tell you otherwise, but I wouldn't be sure it isn't stolen. My stuff came from kijiji. The Olympus body EM or PL will allow you to buy an adapter which will let you use older lenses from other cameras in manual focus mode. Panasonic needs Panasonic lenses

ATTN Photographers - Need Camera Recommendations!

I use an Olympus EPL5. Does most of what the 35 mm cameras can but smaller lenses. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

    HICUP AT SPEED

I skipped through the thread quickly just now and I didn't see if all of the routine maintenance is up to date. Oil change, spark plugs, air filter all good? Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

Thinking of buying a big boy bike

At first I assumed I'd need a top box, but the side luggage boxes are pretty big. I have a large drybag if I need more storage Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

Thinking of buying a big boy bike

My phone got wet when we were loading it, so pictures are fuzzy at the moment. Gold and black. Side luggage but no top box. Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

As in adjust the fairing so you can get the filter out without removing the fairing? Yes Sent from my Redmi 7A using Tapatalk

Thinking of buying a big boy bike

And the winner is a 2005 GTR1000 Concours. Not the lightest or fastest, but for the money it is. And previous owner has a garage floor you can eat off of. I love it when guys like that sell their bikes. I have in writing every oil change and valve check. Not that it has enough mileage to have...
