    Some trail riding questions

Yes it is. Mine is around $200 for Full Insurance. State Farm, now called Desjardins will insure off road only. Check the OFTR forums, there are a couple names posted on there who cater to Offroad riders. You should join OFTR too. https://oftr.ca/ https://oftr.ca/member-benefits/

Can you be sued for leading a ride?

Im definitely no lawyer, but i would believe its possible you could be. Anyone can try and make a case, whether it will be successful in court is another matter.

    Coming to your neighbourhood...

The amount of brake dust created when stopping and gas wasted accelerating from 4 way stops..got to add up. Get the environmental people behind changing road design ?

    What does "with ownership" mean?!

Not sure that was a requirement of the event was it? I know you're supposed to be plated to ride back on the roads if you were DNF though. Oh, and what a grand time it was !

No more searching for pink slips

Not sure that’s technically valid. What’s to stop the photo being photoshopped. But at least you have the policy number so they can look it up.

Left Lane Loafers - Watch This

My opinion, doesn't matter what lane, driving skills and consideration to others is poor here. In 16 yrs of Ontario driving I haven't see it get any better

Ganaraska's Lookout Hill closed due to erosion

As far as I understand, the people in charge of Ganaraska Forest, and who charge $175 per annum for a motorized permit do not put any maintenance into the forest trails. Yes, the road is maintained at times, but not the double or single track trails. This lookout hill is a popular location for...

Cars keep bending my licence plate!

Technically you can be ticked for a 90 Degrees parking . Why? They don’t want you to sneak in between two closely parked vehicles.

    paying for gas

So imagine it was like this here: "Australian service stations can legally refuse to serve you fuel if you don’t remove your helmet, but very few provide anywhere safe for you to place your helmet while you fill up." see Why remove your helmet at a service station? - Motorbike Writer In NZ, I...

    So many accidents already.

That's outside urban areas . Around urban areas they are much better, but then again we can talk about road design, which also is another factor. I think a lot of the attitude here is "big city F U and every one else" we seem to have here.

    So many accidents already.

limit maybe 40km/h, but even at 40km/h to take a hit and a fall can be damaging.

Best rides outside of east end of Toronto

Yep Head out to port hope then north on 10 and then there's some nice sweepers and roads in the area. I used to use this as a basis of my rides.. some sweepers near Lindsay and Port Perry as well.

    So many accidents already.

Dont make them too big, we had a problem in New Zealand a few years ago when Bollywood film crews used to stop illegally, and film in the middle of our traffic islands/roundabouts. :ROFLMAO: In the UK I have seen Gypsies set up camp in some of the larger ones too
