hey, thanks for pointing this out. I've only had minimal experience with insurance claims here. I just know people always underestimate how much it costs to fix. I understand lack of insurance and fake insurance could be quite common too so would make sense why someone would be all worked up.

You should do a day trip to Markham - especially up the 404 to Steeles or come downtown TO for extra fun ;-)

from the looks of it, the driver would be at fault, so even if the rider has basic insurance, the claim should be from the driver's insurance company.. anyway, not for me to worry about.

from the video on youtube apparently they just exchanged information to settle outside of insurance. Just wait until Biker gets the bill and shows to driver.. high chance driver thinks this is "only a couple hundred" at most. where in reality it will cost a lot more then the rider will have...

Who knows, I wonder if the car was involved in another crime elsewhere and was on the "getaway"

Interesting this was only a few days ago. I'm also actually surprised how many people now run with dash cams. I've been using one for about 18mths myself, but I'm a gadget geek. Surprised no car manufacturer has made them a factory installed feature.

a as much as the cab driver was in the wrong lane to make the turn, the rider has themselves to blame as well as if the light was green and the cab was almost still, he was going much too fast with a cab on the left lane not moving at all.. my spider sense would be tingling.. and assumed...

I like the fact that is a suggestion, that way I can pass those Harley trains ;-) Seriously, the factor that most people dont know this makes it less likely that I would want to use it at times, especially if the driver being overtaken could be irritated. ie. Try to avoid some sort of road...

And ironically you're quite mistaken there about the passing on solid lines. In ONTARIO its not against any law. If its spesignposted ie "Do Not Pass", then it would be illegal . Please refer to this and many other articles on the www...

Just curious if anyone has used touchupdirect.com or colorrite aerosol cans to paint motorcycle parts? I have used colorrite paint in the past but had a professional painter apply the paint. Was curious to how well the aerosol cans work and if the colour matching was good. thanks
