    Anybody need some cellular data?

The phone guy at the store told me that the difference between 4G and 5G speeds is only evident with hard core gaming or binge streaming and that too it may not be a whiz-bang difference.

    Honda Recall (250k vechicles)

Sometime back I had approached a Honda dealer for an issue with the Civic, explaining that there was a TSB for the very same issue in the US. I was told that "that is in the US and not here in Canada". Same car, same issue and a geographical division dictates that the problem is a non-issue...

    Deterrents

Me too, seriously considered a Volvo but when I heard of the servicing costs and explanation thereof, I walked away. Example: $400 and the reason why is "Volvo has so many software modules and we need to check and update these at a service. Huh? Other manufacturers provide software updates as a...

Why US and Canada (cities) suck.

Heard that Mexico city is experiencing a water shortage and for a couple of hours a day an open faucet dispenses nothing.

Ethanol is bad for "Vintage" engines

For me, the addition of the additive did not help, but then I tried to start the motor after 18 months of storage.

Ethanol is bad for "Vintage" engines

The link below is from a "small engine" site, I would think that the principle is the same, draw your own conclusions! https://www.yourgreenpal.com/blog/is-fuel-stabilizer-worthwhile-here-is-what-lawn-care-pros-have-to-say

    when does the salt start?

Heard that Startron works against the ethanol and moisture and Stabil works against the moisture. Am not a chemist of any sort and the above is just hearsay. (is this in danger of becoming like an "oil" thread?[emoji6])

    Gen 3 Rogers Ignite Router

Double NAT has been an issue for access to certain security cameras and even "home clouds" from remote. Port forwarding or a registered DNS may be ways around that. Those are not a straightforward set up and bridge- mode will avoid that hassle I don't understand why ISPs refuse bridge-mode. Also...

    Gen 3 Rogers Ignite Router

Good idea! Even better, call Tech Suport and get them to put the modem in "bridge mode".

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

On an aside, there was a "re-calibration" issued in the US for a a fuel level display problem for certain Honda vehicles. Good luck at the (Canada region) dealer if you have exactly the same issue with the same vehicle model - they will tell you that the problem does not exist in Canada (Canada...

    Buying gear from Europe

I bought a resistor plug (in a bubble envelope) costing $25 from a vendor in Greece, the default shipping method was DHL. The DHL shipping cost was $35 plus they charged me another $35 for customs and clearance formalities. The only good thing is that it took a week to arrive.
