Nope... Pen Centre in St. Catharines, in a yellow jacket and black helmet; would have been me, though.

    Any Photographers (Pro/Am) here?

We know a few people that shoot weddings... the money can be decent, but the headaches can be epic. Since this is something between a hobby and a side hustle, We decided the money isn't worth the hassle...

    Any Photographers (Pro/Am) here?

My wife and I are... She's semi-professional (does paid shoots on the side) and I'm an avid amateur... Both Canon, I'm using an EOS-R mirrorless; she's in a 6dMk2. I mostly do landscape/architecture, and some product shots; she's more versatile, does websites, portraits, and boudoir - but we...

heading to detroit...anything interesting along the way?

401 from London to Windsor is a pain in the ass - been under construction for years.... Crossing over, don't know if bikes are allowed in the tunnel (I don't know they aren't either...) - but I'd aim for the bridge if given the option.

LOL - I literally ran out and took those on my lunch break.... I'll grab a few head-on ones later for you. And yes, when I ordered this bike, I went analog dash with the add-on NAV... the digital dash is just too busy for my tastes; but the NAV unit gives me access to all the engine and...

Errands are just a little nicer...

Very nice - initial reviews on the 310 were pretty skeptical (it's built in India with a Chinese produced motor IIRC) - but so far, seems like it's winning people over... Reliability is apparently on par with the German built bikes, and style-wise, it's a GS. Price point is hard to beat...

Errands are just a little nicer...

On a sunny day. Maybe just a quick Walmart run, but I've never been so happy for the wife to ask me to grab coffee and recycling bags! 🤣

Almost had a crash today on the 401. How should I prepare?

Can I ride in traffic? Yes. Do I ride in traffic? Yes. Is it exhausting, and not at all enjoyable? Also, yes.

Almost had a crash today on the 401. How should I prepare?

While not directly motorcycle related - I drive in Montreal/Quebec for work and leisure a few times a year, either in a 5t straight truck or pulling a trailer or RV... In Ontario (specifically the GTHA) - driving is a fight; I often have to push my way in. Dans la belle province, while...

Almost had a crash today on the 401. How should I prepare?

I've commuted to work on my bike a handful of times - 105 km, QEW from St. Catharines to Mississauga/Oakville border. It's somewhere between soulless, boring, and terrifying at all times... And that it can go from 130 km/hr to stop and go in a heart-beat makes it a miserable ride.

Who is this guy? Sikorsky S-76C C-FBLU

C-FBLU just flew over my place at about 1000' AGL - how the other half lives, I guess.... Based on the flight-path, looks like some sight-seeing at the Falls today.

Electric Truck - Anyone have a Ford Lightning or Pre Order a Silverado EV?

How most condo's seem to be handling it these days is putting the EV chargers on the common meter - then use sub-metering (often with smart cards associated for billing purposes) to do cost-recovery.

Electric Truck - Anyone have a Ford Lightning or Pre Order a Silverado EV?

The Eaton unit with wifi, metering etc (top of the line) is about 4200 usd - about 6k CAD. Unless the house was gas everything, a 50a continuous load (which is what an EV charger counts as) will put most 100a services over the allowed utilization. Will it work, especially if you limit the...
