lol. 7.2 million of us across Canada, bud.
I took two Japanese classes in university, that was fun. Wish I stuck with it. Still have my Kanji dictionary.
Native French speaker here. My 7yo has been in French immersion since JK. I don't think that's enough to get actual working knowledge of the language - you need to supplement by talking and/or consuming French content at home.
Watching French or dubbed movies/TV is effective before your kid can...
Any "acceleration event" is bad, there is zero assessment of the situation. You're supposed to anticipate everything and use a very light touch on all the controls. But above all, keep your trips short.
Same for my '85 FJ600, tons of stuff still readily available from Yamaha. Stuff like carb boots has been obsoleted but I was able to import a brand new set from Poland (!) Still a surprising amount of aftermarket support for the ol' UJMs, especially in Europe.
Really disappointed for Nakagami and Marquez, would've made for a more exciting race with both in the mix 'til the end.
And yeah, I'm not feeling this Mir championship at all, hopefully he wins at least one race to validate it.
What's FQ's excuse today? He's blowing it big time.
I noticed that Rossi almost always performs best on his very last flying lap in qualifying. He seems to need the extra pressure that comes with the do-or-die situation, or something.
Anyway, tremendous race once again IMO. I don't mind the tire drama - everyone has to deal with the same stuff...
I got a set of the Pinlock earplugs. It feels like they don't do much of anything but Pinlock claims they bring wind noise down to a safe level while still allowing the rider to have a normal conversation. That last part is definitely true.

My buddy has had a '92 for 7 years now and I've done a lot of maintenance work on his behalf . Fun bike that wasn't really meant for the street - expect to replace worn-out needle jets on top of, well, pretty much everything else.
Tire selection is limited but they are out there - we put...
I use an older full-frame Nikon D600 for product photography since I inherited a bunch of Nikon lenses, but if were starting from scratch today I would go mirrorless Nikon or Canon for the weight savings.
I haven't read the TOS but anyway I don't think the GPS/accelerometer data they collect is reliable enough to assess a crash. There are probably differences in the accelerometers used in various phones too which would make data analysis more complicated.
One example - I got dinged for multiple...
I haven't read the whole thread, so apologies if that was mentioned before, but I just signed up for the TD app thingie for my brand new Nissan Kicks and it quickly became apparent that it's easy to game the system.
I invariably score high (90%+) on <5kms trips and mediocre (~75%) on long...
I'm moving out of the GTA in 2 weeks and need to clear out my self-storage unit on Bramalea Rd, just a couple blocks north of YYZ. The engine was pulled out of my FJ600 3 years ago. Cylinder #1 is burning oil and a few valve stem seals are leaky, otherwise it's running perfectly well. All 6...
I'm hoping this is a creative writing exercise, with a (very) slow buildup towards kinky spouse-swapping sex.
Boundary Issues - a long-winded erotic novel for the Internet age.
