Godzilla Minus One - really enjoyed it. Lots of touchy feely bits that wouldn’t have made the cut when the original came out. LOVED the inclusion of the Shinden fighter! The First Omen - what can I say? I’m a sucker for a horror movie and ones that are part of a franchise esp. “decent” story -...

    Help with bicycle purchase

Giant hybrid ftw Tires have mountain bike-ish tread but are narrower which is great for road path or trail. Front suspension to help when going gets rough, but can be locked out when not required.

    Electric Lawn Mower?

I’ve had my EGO Power Plus mower for 8 years. It’s never missed a beat regardless of being made of plastic. The battery is just now showing signs of deterioration, but I can still do both front and rear lawns and string trim on a single charge. Mine is a self-propelled model, but I’d like...

I really want to see this. I’ll wait until it’s available via (legal) streams. It’s only in theatres currently.

    Riding goggles vs sunglasses

I’ve always worn a full face helmet, but ride with the visor up a lot. I wear Guard Dogs sunglasses. They fit snug around the eyes and cheeks as they are purpose-built for power sports. They did come with removable foam backing which would make them even more snug fitting like goggles, but I’ve...

    Total eclipse - April 8 2024

Seeing it with a group of people certainly added to the experience. People were whooping and cheering and clapping. Pretty cool. Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com

We also went to Waterford. Just about an hour south for us. Was worth it to see 100%. Lions Park was a great spot to watch from. We didn’t rush out right after, so traffic back to Cambridge was fine.

I think we sat in class and watched it on TV if memory serves. My dad used his welding glass to view it.

    Gaspe 2024

The further east you get, around the Gaspe and NB area, some folks speak "Franglais" which is a hybrid between English and French. Which lines up perfectly with my level of high school French! :-)

    Gaspe 2024

When we went back in 2005-ish, we did the South shore of St Lawrence out of Montreal, staying at Kamouraska on the first night. There was an excellent motorcycle museum in Saint Jean Port Joli that I believe is now closed. At Matane we headed south down into NB and then did the Gaspé peninsula...

Watched the reboot of “Road House” last night. It was ok as popcorn / pure entertainment goes. If you like UFC, you’ll enjoy the fight scenes. I did enjoy Gyllenhaal’s interpretation of the Swayze role.
