I refuse to watch any of his videos and give him views/money from said views. In one of my track groups he's known as Max Rapist, and is a pedofile. He is known to rope riders in to push them until they crash for his video content. I don't support people like him.
89.1 MaxFM. Best station ever. Last year we won a weekend resort stay, parasailing and bike show tickets. They called me one morning two weeks ago for one of their morning show contests/segments, and I got the answer right.
Lots of Championships still to be decided!
Friday - Practice
Saturday & Sunday are full races as it's a double header weekend.
Tickets are $35 for the weekend and that would include camping if you so desire.
Hope to see some of you there!
A couple corners on the north end were torn up and gravel on the the weekend, but they are properly marked with construction signs, so just take it easy there.
I would assume the nascar direction is because they heavily use the rear brake, meaning they need the right foot on the peg, not the sliding on the ground.
But this is about riding on the street, not a race. On the street you're not going to be pushing it to even notice losing 3 seconds over 2 kms.
The fanciest tech on my street bike is a gas light. Both race bikes has quick shifters but I've never once thought I needed one to cruise on the road...
We teaching hill starts at Georgian. Most lots don't have actual hills so we'll pull on the back of the bike to act as "gravity". Not perfect, but they learn the concept.
I'm picking up what you're putting down. Because they have such a flat/smooth sole, they are definitely slippy on gravel/sand so I just try to be extra careful where I put my foot down. A boot with a chunkier sole and treads might note fit as well under the shifter and then give less feedback...
Just wondering what model Alpinestars you have? I have the SMX-Plus and Supertechs and have good feel of the pegs and walking around all day.
There are A LOT of (obvious) knock off A* boots out there, so be weary.
