Scratch that, the word was on the wrong street.
Edit: still going to have 2 fantastic Pro racer coaches, just not Kyle. We'll be doing the intro program.
I'm looking forward to a less congested grocery store thanks to people boycotting. I shop at Zehrs as they seem to have the best produce in town and I get some pretty good deals with my PC Optimum points/offers.
Suzuki will be at Orillia Motorsports May 30th. Come demo some bikes and then stay for free BBQ and prizes with their first bike night of the year.

I left Brampton in 2010 and only go there a couple times a year to visit my grandparents. It's changed A LOT in those 14 years and its not uncommon for me to pass a random upside down car in the middle of an intersection.
I try my best to avoid it and most definitely won't ride there anymore.
Asking to meet at the bank to withdraw money on the spot doesn't work for everyone. I'm with Simplii and have a daily limit of $1k, or if I call I have a max of $5k per day. So if the bike is anymore than $5k, I have to withdraw the money multiple days throughout the week.

This thread makes me sad/angry. We have a family property in Hillburgh that's been a part of the family for well over 100 years, but when it eventually get passed to us grand kids, no way will we be able to afford the CG on it. It's 35 acres and the portion that was severed off 20 years ago is...
We have a large work bench, tool box and drill press in there too. There's barely enough room to work on a bike, so usually one or two have to hang outside for the day.
Having different bikes for different types of riding is great. If I want to hit the track, take the race bikes; woods, take the dirt bikes; frozen lake? Studded mini bike! Need my ice cream fix in a town far away, the street bike!
Only problem is storing the 9 bikes in a one car garage
Not every school is the same. Georgian you have to be full M with experience and take their instructor course throughout the entire winter. Come spring you shadow some courses and show your proficient at the courses material and riding before getting hired to teach. Even then, newer instructors...
On more than one occasion while teaching the bike course
"so do you ride too?"
Do the noobies think they just pull female instructors out of the accounting department or something?
My bike was $2k, and has almost 100,000km on it.
Our track bikes are worth more and there is zero insurance on those. We have to be prepared to pay for everything or just walk away.
In my mind, $10k isn't a cheap bike, but I still likely wouldn't have full coverage if it was an extra $600/yr.
I really wanted to go to the show with Rise Against a couple years ago, but they weren't very clear on whether or not covid vaccines were required despite the provincial restrictions being lifted. And I didn't really want to risk the ticket and driving all that way to be turned away 😞...
