Reminds me of back in the mid 90's up in Bradford when my wife at the time had a 250 Ninja and I had a cruiser. She would not go above 80 km/hr and just never got over her fear. It was tough to ride at that speed so I could keep her in my rear view mirror. We sold the Ninja after 2-3 years.

I'm sure many other folks would prefer to get across Yonge just south or north of Aurora. And I have no issues with taking 407 if I want to get somewhere fast. I have intentionally and substantially reduced my 407 usage in my car so I convince myself it's justified on the bike. :)

This was my route the other day which I would use if you wanted to get to the other side of Lake Simcoe or points east or north-east. I have also taken Hwy 9 over to Dufferin then you go north thru the Holland Marsh and come out just east of Bradford onto 11.

Not to mention, his pics are often a treat.....and even better, never fuzzy. BTW, I predict you will pass me in points this year.
