    Garmin Zumo XT Traffic Source

The Garmin traffic has worked reasonably well for me, it works a lot better in the US than Canada. I have had it give me traffic updates in almost real time when in the US.

    Car key cutting

Shouldn't be an issue for any competent modern locksmith. The keyword you are looking for is "laser cut key"

    Got an ADV?

'15 Super Tenere now and 06 V-Strom 650 before that 99% road, the other 1% is the occasional gravel road when trying to find a shortcut. For coffee I am post-Starbucks, I like the indie coffee shops that serve good espresso. Lately Krave Espresso on St Clair W

Was going to suggest the Kindle Paperwhite Signature that I have, but Amazon jacked up the price from the ~$100 I paid to $170 from their used warehouse. They do have the previous gen Paperwhite, used, for $50 though. I would jump on it...

    What are you reading?

A used Kindle Paperwhite can usually be found for around $50. Try it out and see if it works for you I tried iPad and phone before and it's ok but gets really tiring on the eyes. Kindle is a night and day difference.

You can either do the library method, or find them through other "sources" Kindle now supports ePub by default, they are moving away from the Kindle Mobi proprietary format.

JT saving us one bottle of wd-40 and chain lube at a time

You're not wrong, but it goes both ways. In this case, the rightwingers are pulling at heart strings scaring people that JT is taking away their WD40

JT saving us one bottle of wd-40 and chain lube at a time

Funny how the article focuses exclusively on WD40 which has an emotional connection for pretty much all of us. Rather, this is a general aerosol regulation change. We have known aerosol's are bad for decades now, not sure how this is surprising.

    GPS options?

Just a note for anyone interested, the 590 can be upgraded to the 595 software with some semi-simple hacking. Only difference between the two

    H2Oi Wasaga Beach

Was bored so decided to look up a bunch of Wasaga FB pages. Probably 90% of the posts were in support of the city's actions, the other 10% were the tinfoil crowd that were likely part of this event

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Very strange product marketing decision "Take rate for the GTI’s manual has been about 40 percent" https://www.hagerty.com/media/news/volkswagen-manual-transmission-for-gti-and-golf-r-gone-after-2024/#:~:text=Take%20rate%20for%20the%20GTI%27s,eighth%20generation)%20internal%20model%20code.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Pretty much any of the classic Italian semi-automatics (Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silvia, etc) are like that and dead easy to work on. Even my Breville Dual Boiler which has a lot more electronics and plastic compared to them is pretty reliable and easy to work on.

Twisted Metal - So so so good. I barely knew it was based on a video game and that aspect really doesn't matter. Good writing, good acting, and a lot of fun
