What did you do in your garage today..?

Will have a look and see what I find Ah, i didn't know that, thanks! Explains why the wiring (although done well with connectors and all), does look odd, different colours matching, some connectors left with nothing etc...

    SHAD or GIVI Luggage?

When I had the CBX, I found too much weight flung far back, and up high (aka big top box, changes the bikes character). I got it with an SW Motech rack, that had no plate. So went to Henry's, got a Nanuk case, and bolted it on. You can get them in a few sizes, made in Canada, and this box has...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Will do when I get some time this week, thanks Factory street legal from what I can tell from the wiring diagrams. It does have switches from the levers. It does look like an LED tail tidy with flush signals was installed at some point, and there are a few connectors that don't plug into...

What did you do in your garage today..?

The switch is on, I put a new LED bulb and that works, switch of turns the headlight off too. It has a rear tail light, and is street legal, so I assume would need a brake light working to pass a safety?

    Adventure Motorbike Camping

Rode a bit of it, not much. Rain got us too, I try again this year, with a lighter bike. Some of the trails looked good, and the T7 would be a handful for me on them to enjoy

What did you do in your garage today..?

No, they are Kenda K270's. They came with the bike, and are new. I haven't tried them off road yet, though I will be swtiching to a more dirt oriented tire. Not sure how these will do for single track Geomax looks good!

What did you do in your garage today..?

Finished her up today... Only thing now, is the tail light turns on, yet neither the front or rear brake light it up

What did you do in your garage today..?

Heard some rattling in the exhaust when I took it off... Had some time waiting for new packing to arrive, so refreshed it, new heat resistant enamel. Had to go through everything, loctite, grease, dielectric grease, and clean. Alot of this is a first for me, and I'm surprised how easy KTM...

    Adventure Motorbike Camping

That was in Mattawa during an ADV event. Great area to ride and explore. As for camping, skip anything provincial and find private. Just google camping and lots of good places show up. I avoid provincial campgrounds, over crowded, expensive and not as clean and maintained imo. I rather wild...

Left turn crash from car perspective

After the first tire churp and lousy clutch let-off, I'd pull the key out of the ignition, turn hazard on and tell the kid to f'off. Also, owner asks what the daily driver is after handing over the keys, mid drive... And an auto Camry, probably the kids parents car. He doesn't even have a daily...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Just cause of comfort, I'm 6ft+, it wasn't a long distance hauler for me. No windshield, handguards, room to move on the seat etc... Doing those mods would ruin the bike's appearance and intentions too. I also started doing more off-road. If I had the money and space, I would have kept it

Please don't become another statistic and show wisdom

I feel for Sport bike riders who follow the rules and get a bad rep cause of such incidents. I have people at work tell me stuff, and then see the T7 and go 'oh, you aren't like them". Sportbikes riding crazy on public roads, are like ADV/Dirtbiker's going to local hiking trails and parks to...

    Dacre 2021

I was hoping it was on last year. I have a T7 and a KTM 250 XCF-W. In either class, I'll probably use the KTM if I get it working. Not sure I'm team worthy, I have never done it, so Silver or Gold maybe above my league

    Seat comfort

Not sure what you ride, though Renzaco is what they use in racing and by a lot of Dakar riders for comfort https://renazco.com/

    Your Fav Helmet

Arai XD-4 with Vision graphics. Fits like a glove, I have an RF1200 and Quest, don't touch either anymore. The peak is great during sunset/sunrise, fits googles for cold days/off-road, no buffeting and quiet. The quality and details are better than the Shoei's too, when it goes, I'll get another...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Congrats! My first bike was an 05" SV650N, I looked for ages to find a clean and well kept one. Drove all the way to Kingston to pick it up. Got it for $3.4k with only 13k on the odo, when I drove of the owner texted later saying what a deal it was. 1.5Yrs later I sold it for $3.5k and 22k on...

Woah, learn something new everyday... That little bike does indeed have endless aftermarket support

What did you do in your garage today..?

No I didn't :( Not sure if 4-strokes need to, I'll get the mechanic to check it when I get the safety done. The bike pulls strong, took it for a quick jaunt, and no oil or coolant leaks so far. It has 0 hours on the rebuild, he showed me the new parts pictures, and all got from GP Bikes/OEM. I...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I think 2008-2011 they remained pretty much the same. It was one of the very few, non-molested blue plated dirt bikes I found in original condition. Everything from the shifters to plastics is OEM, which is good I guess. Thanks for the cold start info, cause when I got it, it was below 0c, and...
