    Fobo Bike 2 TPMS

So the phone has to be mounted on the bike? If so, and you have a GPS App open, that means you don't see the temps as you ride right, just rely on it to notify you?

    Fobo Bike 2 TPMS

Expensive, and inconvenient... Not to mention, alot of times the tire pressure is something you want to see during the ride, if a slow leak is happening. So going into the app, and "monitoring" that is defeated. I bought a wireless charging one on eBay last year, a cheap Chinese one. worked...

    Givi Trekker Outback 37/48L

What to pack for 2 days, can be similar to seven depending on the type of ride. Everyone packs different, though i would say 37 with no camping gear is plenty, and if you do decide to camp, 20L top bag can always be added. While waiting for Shane, I have a brand new Shad Zulupack you can use in...

    Givi Trekker Outback 37/48L

Do you have any other storage, like a top box? or will 37/48 be everything? For how long, do you like camping, what trips do you have in mind?

    insect removal/cleaners

Pledge works awesome, I use it on helmets and windshields. I used to use it on the bike, then found Maxima new bike in a can, keep lots of it around now! https://fortnine.ca/en/maxima-sc1-clear-coat-silcone-detailer

    Ear plugs

These 3M ones are awesome! All I use, I do trim them a bit using a scissor so some more sound from the BT speakers in the helmet can go through. I actually sleep with these on, never notice them. Soft, and get a few uses out of a pair. I tried various silicone ones, from cheap to pricey, to...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

I'll def hit you up sometime after I get it plated, thanks! I didn't know there were trails there, or close by. Finding some nearby would be great for after work or the weekends I don't have a whole day to spare. As is, I have to borrow my dad's truck to haul the bike since I don't have one or a...

how do I down shift properly

I feel for the people who keep getting the classes cancelled and are trying to do it the right way in these times. Personally, If I was in alot of these people's shoes, for the next year I'd just get a dirt bike and work on getting a license next year when things are better timing wise. In the...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Maybe its my location or age, though that price was as a second bike discount, which I just found insane. When I get all the papers I will confirm, however I'll be using it off-road only anyway, with the occasional street to get fuel/food, or in between trails. For everything else I have the...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

If you get into the grey zone, and a blue plated dirt bike, much much cheaper. For ex, I was quoted $1200-1400/yr for the WRR or CRF-L. The XCF-W, which is classified as motocross, not dual sport, yet street legal. $90/yr. I know another rider who got a TE250, also $90/yr However, unlike the...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Ah okay, before I got the XCF-W, I was looking for a WRR. I ruled out the CRF250L's due to the low seat height, and how boring I found the 230's at Trail Tours. The insurance for the WRR was coming to the same as a regular bike for me, so I ruled it out early on, plus people asking alot for the...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

I haven't ridden either, though wouldn't a suspension upgrade help? the new 300L has better low end torque, it weights 306lbs wet, and the WRR is 295lbs, how would 11lbs make it way heavier? I'm just comparing it to the $9k example posted, I am a huge WRR fan. Just wondering why proper...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

There are rumours Yamaha is working on a mini Tenere300, to compete with the CRF300L, Kawi, and ADV390... So, as much as people think they have gold on their hands with these discontinued bikes, its temporary. Heck for that price, can get a brand new CRF300L, spend some $$$ on suspension and...

how do I down shift properly

Hasn't stopped him so far lol... Though he can come in a car, and I can just do a few circles on the bike and he can watch from a distance how the hand and engine sounds coordinate

how do I down shift properly

where abouts do you live? One of these nights if the temps are good, I can come down and quickly show you in a parking lot safely. We all start somewhere, and even for me, good downshifts took lots of practice and time. just be smooth with the clutch, or else you will do a clutch out wheelie...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Yup, thats what's going on under the seat here. Blue to red, and black to blue, blue to blue etc... Come winter time, and if the bike runs goods all summer making me keep it, I'll redo the wiring all properly and label things. Its irritating my OCD

    SHAD or GIVI Luggage?

My mistake, it was Givi rack the bike came with, and no plate, this one I drilled 4 holes in the Nanuk case, to match the 4 holes on the rack rails, and simply bolted it right on. Went back into the archives to find these... The inside foam comes out, and it's a decent amount of space...
