Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Torque is what matters in this context... HP calculated from torque--the formula is HP = (Torque X RPM)/5252. HP might sell cars/trucks but.... That Cummins (without looking at the specs) likely makes ~2,000 lb.ft of torque and that much way down low and those HP numbers could be at 1600 rpm...

    GST/HST Holiday

I imagine the problem is how often does one reprogram the POS, so each time it is like figuring it out for the first time... Maybe a good short-term side hustle, figure out a few of the top systems and offer it as a service to those small businesses?

    Tyson v Paul

To be somewhat fair... Many realize that they don't have the acumen to mange their own money only to be ripped off by the person they trusted. Others spend like they are going to keep making what they made today tomorrow only to find out their career ends up being much shorter than expected...

    Quick Jack?

I have one of the many "quick lift 3 ton floor jacks", at the time they sold what appeared to be the exact same jack under many different brands. Mine is Motomaster but my guess is they all are the same OEM with different brands and colours. Newer models now, same deal. They are heavy but it...

    Does the car you drive...

The vehicle you drive absolutely says a lot about you like it or not. If you think it does not because you don't care what you drive...it says, about you, you don't care what you drive or it is just transportation--and there is nothing wrong with that BTW. But in many cases it can also say who...

    Christmas Gift Ideas 2024 Addition

Getting a gift for your pet is about the joy of giving. I got our cat one of those electric flopping fish a few years ago. He didn't like it at first but I put a little catnip on it to get over the apprehension and now he loves it. Catnip is long gone but he plays with it constantly and lets me...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I am currently building my youngest daughter a four post canopy bed (she picked the colour--orange). Should get final assembly this weekend give or take I will post up completed pics in a week or so. Materials... the posts are made from clear pine and poplar laminated together. They are...

    Christmas Gift Ideas 2024 Addition

Just a thread to bounce back and forth some ideas for Christmas Gifts... For me the kids always seem to be fairly easy to shop for as they have a pretty good idea of what they want. Shopping for the wife always seems to be difficult for me, trying to get something "thoughtful" off list...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

I agree, there are many causes to the "storage capacity" problems not just the number of jail beds by itself. But this still falls mostly on the province (jail) and it is something the province has the power to fix, IF they wanted to.

    Tyson v Paul

He has been KOed, I think once before prison and then a few times after prison during his comeback by the top named/ranked fighters of that time. IMO the after prison Tyson was not 100% the same as before. But to be fair, I don't want to face either, even with a half dozen+ of you guys backing...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

It is not just timmies, many coffee drive throughs, specially in the morning, for many with smaller lots it often spills onto the road and creates complete chaos. Many people just can't function in the morning without the fix. Don't get me wrong, I like my coffee, but I also dislike...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Lots of finger pointing on bail (the problem is not just bail BTW) and repeat offenders, I really think the items below need to be fixed before just adding more laws... Current jails in Ontario are full/over capacity so apparently judges are being lenient on bail as there is no place to put...

    Clothing Donations

I have been trying to give away some of my business causal clothes now that I am WFH for eons.... *** +1 for shelters or places like Haven--business hours only (Queensway) for items that are in good shape. For stuff that is worn out there are actually still places that take it for other uses...
