Yes, along with the stipulation that you should not enter the intersection unless you can safely clear it. This, of course, is now a patently stupid stipulation given the state of today's roads and how people think that an amber light means "go faster", not "stop if safe to do so."
Sorry, after more than 50 years in Brampton hearing "21 Division" has a pretty specific connotation for me. As a kid my friends and I would collect stolen bikes, from the various creeks, and drop them off to the cops at 21.
Shows how much police contact I have. I didn't even know that 21 Division had moved to that Peel building near City Centre. I hadn't been in the place since it was a 1 story building a little ways from there.
Sign of the times. I went on a little morning walk, because the heat isn't oppressive yet. I walked along one of the Brampton creeks and then back along residential side streets. In that time I saw exactly two moving cars (Sunday on a long weekend, so nothing out). One car cuts the corner tight...
I would assume so, but haven't found anything about it.
Note: Trial by judge: This is what a cop does if he wants to get off on some pointy-headed issue of law.
Trial by jury: this is when they want to play on public sympathy for their job.
I think there are still charges pending, however...

So most likely looking at longer, rather than shorter.
The festival cut of "JourneyQuest" season 4 dropped last night, at GenCon, and I received my backer link to watch it. Guess that I'll be doing that today :)
Nope.
Half of people in Ontario say they break traffic laws.
The other half are lying.
I admittedly do break traffic law. I speed. I also do speed appropriate to the situation (unlike the guy who pulled out in front of me and did 40 Kmh in a 70 zone, this morning), stop fully at stop signs...
The house is pretty much at the corner of Brookmere and Kipling, with a parking lot right across the street. My guess would be it mounted the low curb in the parking lot and ran right up into the house.
The intersection doesn't need pedestrian crossing markings, when the centre line and stop line are clearly visible. Too many people are just lazy and take the "racing line."
Given the draconian firearms laws in California, it's likely that neither of them were legally in possession of those weapons. Escapating a road rage incident, with your children in the vehicle, is the height of stupidity.
