    Ethics of selling a motorcycle.

The street triple was expensive for him. The gsxr is going to be worse. $280 a month or so... he said something about getting it insured under his girlfriends name, but they live together, so it would be rated for him as a second rider, unless they excluded him from the policy. His mom lives a...

This will need some work, and more than a few parts. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

    Ethics of selling a motorcycle.

Well, gixxers gone. It went to a guy who has a year or two of riding experience, and knows exactly what he's getting into. It'll serve him well. Traded him for a Triumph street triple that needs some work. He was glad he didn't have to deal with FB and kijiji lowballers for his Triumph...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Reassembled the Husky today. Measured the squish. In spec, at just under .10mm from the top of the cylinder. Always a little unnerving, with a first start-up. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

    2024 WSBK/WSS Discussion Thread

You might as well, Mr. Retiree! You can't take it with you. Might as well enjoy it. Honestly, I wonder how long its going to take before you are bored stiff, and start doing some part time work. "Hello, welcome to Walmart?" Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

Fortnine. It wasn't quite a full set. No headlight plastic, or fork guards. Sides, shrouds, rear tail, front fender. Edit: The $220 black set was a Polysport kit. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

Checked. =< .40mm is spec. I got drag on the feeler gauge at .27 mm Anything under .25 is a bit too tight. Possibly not giving the rings enough room to expand in the cylinder when they heat up. Borrowed my friends circlip install tool. Practiced on the old piston. Slick tool. Better than...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Interesting. I thought red was more immediate/snappy. I think it came with the yellow spring. I'll have to pull it apart to find out. I'd have to lay it on its side, so the bottom end ool doesn't leak out. It'll wait until the top end is reassembled. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

Haven't checked yet. My buddy gave me the green one if I want to soften the hit a bit. I haven't ridden it yet, so I might put the green in, and change it if I don't like it. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

Already got them. EDIT: Whoops, these are UFO. All black was $220. Stock colours were $70. I was surprised. Individual pieces were expensive. $30-40 for the tailpiece alone. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

Stock shrouds are blue. White sides. White fender, white tail. These are getting pretty scraped up. Some of the fastener locations are broken. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

Makes it faster! Just something basic and cheap. These are $90 on fortnine. Not in stock, but it can wait. I'll leave the old bodywork on for a while. If it looks somewhat factory, I'm happy. It wont look mint after I crash it a few times. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk

What did you do in your garage today..?

I still have to pull the swingarm to grease the bearings. Head bearings too. Linkage is cleaned and greased. Spokes checked and tightened. I want to pull the clutch cover to see what type of Rekluse clutch the previous owner put in it. Likely a part # on the basket. There is a kickstarter...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Cleaned, rebuilt the power valve on the te300. Bike has 112 hours. The compression test showed 150psi. Leakdown test was pushing air through the power valve assembly. Piston clip was half out the one side... somebody had pulled the piston to measure it, and not put the circlip all the way back...
