I did a 5km trail intermittent walk/run with a 25lb pack and then washed the van and truck. I’ll take tomorrow off and do a full day ride to Calabogie and back (half off-road) and maybe up the weight to 35lbs on Friday.
There's been 3 Generations of the 3.5. Phaser issues have been fixed and turbo issues are rare (extended oil change intervals will still take them out prematurely like any turbo motor). I'm not defending the motor because that's what I bought, I just did my research before buying. Awesome...
Columbia is beautiful and there is lots to do. I’m not much of a bar/club guy, I trek into the surroundings and talk to locals as I find this is how you find the good food and fun stuff to do. Keep some street smarts and you won’t feel unsafe.
Like Mexico, don’t fall in love with one of the locals.
You can order it from the US as well now fyi. LCBO carries their 10 and a horrible “Fiddler’s” concoction. We have friends in Inverness and did the whisky tasting tour there. Owner is really nice.
Changed my first tire today! Ok, not motorcycle, but kiddo was happy. The bearings all fell out of the front wheel of our kiddos bicycle. Cheap bike but still annoying since she hasn’t even ridden it enough to get the training wheels off. Got it exactly one year ago but it’s been too big for...
I inquired about buying back my BMW last Fall when it was deemed a total loss however the insurance company wouldn't offer that as an option as they said there was too much damage and it was a liability to sell it back to me. Other than mirrors/controls it was all cosmetic.
Going through the manual is your best bet. Doesn’t sound like a base receiver so going into your center speaker level and turning that up will likely solve your problem but do that in conjunction with an appropriate surround mode. YoI could also try the all-channels-stereo mode or whatever it’s...
Funny how that works eh? Move to the countryside with little to no neighbours and it's really hard to go back. Some people can't handle the quiet and go back but I'd say that number is very low. I'll listen to the coyote's howling in the evening over neighbours cars/kids/dogs any day.
I'm looking at the Commuter Sport version. Kinda between it and the Kriega OS-18. I have a topbox but I need something to use offroad that's smaller and doesn't allow stuff inside to bounce around (already busted a few water bottles and a protein shaker this way).
I used this two years ago to fill some scrapes in the driveway and it works easily and lasts. Two winters now with the snowblower going over it and it hasn't moved. Driveway sealer over it and you'd never know it was there...
I've used the rubber driveway crack filler from Home Hardware with good results. I saw this product at Peavey Mart and it looks like it could work for you nicely. Has sand in it to fill small cracks and then seals as well...
I had a 2016 MS1200S and put 35,000 trouble-free km’s in that bike. Gearbox was golden (I’ve had 7 Suzuki-slick GSXR’s btw). That was one of, if not the most bike I’ve had. If I didn’t have a hankering for hard off-roading I’d be on one right now.
Don’t snooze on the 950 Multistrada’s. Get an S...
One of my riding partners hit a spike near Deals Gap. He stopped when he heard the spike banging against the wheel hub inside the tire. Just a fluke that this 6” spike entered the tire. Old dog on a Goldwing who was prepared for cataclysmic events showed up and saved the day.
I mix purple SimpleGreen with Shout liquid cleaner and some water (about a 30/30/40 mixture) into a old spray bottle. Cleans with pretty much zero scrubbing.
Since buying a legpress I’ve avoided squats to save my knees/back but yesterday I just had a hankering to put heavy things on my shoulders. I did a 10x10 century set and finished off with two sets of walking lunges. Lil sore today.
Covered rear of the truck cab in sound deadening material and built an amp rack. Have a bit of wiring to clean up and some shorter rca’s ordered but otherwise I’m happy with it.
