VRRA is a great weekend (I much prefer it over the CSBK weekend as there’s less ego/attitude around).
I haven’t been in a couple years after my good friend in the series passed away (non-race related) but will get back to going soon.
Can’t figure out how to tighten up the top “elbow” of this Moen faucet. The base is tight to the counter and the pullout part is tight enough (goes back in fully) but the top elbow seems loose/wobbly.
Looking into doing this trip next year. I’ll check some ride reports but my main question is there enough lodging along the way? I plan to go to the end at Long Point and don’t mind long days. I’m past the age of enjoying camping but the accommodations don’t need to be high class that’s for sure.
I don’t find my Tech7’s very squeaky. More “clunk clunk clunk” than anything else but about the only walking I do in them is pushing the dirtbike out of the garage onto the driveway.
Nothing compared to the squeak complaints that make it into every Sidi review.
My 7’s should last another year...
The US women’s artistic swim to Michael Jackson was phenomenal as was this Thriller dance routine.
And if break dancing is in the Olympics then pole dancing should be as well!
My requirement was a adventure waterproof boot that I could ride in rain or wade through deep puddles or water crossings, be comfortable enough that I could walk a bit if I'm on a multi-day tour, and have enough protection for moderate offroading.
I have Tech7's and they're excellent. Smashed...
Milwaukee and Ryobi both made by TTI so I’ve been told albeit to different standards I’m sure. I’m mostly the home handyman type but friggin adore the Dewalt drill and driver for the basic stuff I do around the property like building stuff like this and other projects.
Mileage at 11.6 now in mixed driving and some playing in Sport Mode (holds onto gears much longer, etc). No premium fuel required. Engine still loosening up at 2300km. I’m not complaining one bit.
Boots arrived today (Alpinestars Toucan and they’re awesome btw). Ups ended up being the delivery (DHL was stated at checkout) and they jammed me a bit on duty/brokerage as ups had their own surcharges for that tacked on top of the government’s ones. Anywho, GPbikes would only offer me 10% off...
Yup, this.
And also as Mad Mike stated, kids are just more fun. My oldest is just starting on the 50 and I head out on rides by myself when I've had a good fill of parenting and want a me-break. Parents need a few hours here and there away from the ankle-biters to keep their sanity.
Rest...
Has anyone been hit with duty charges after the item is delivered?
I had a item delivered (can’t recall if it was US or Euro) a while back and received a invoice from FedEx or UPS for duty/tax a few weeks later (I paid the invoice).
I have boots set to be delivered tomorrow from FCMoto and...
I tested mine in Port Perry a couple weeks ago. My wife's first time riding in the truck she pointed to the drive selector/mode pushing it in the process which activates the rear locker. Dash popup told me to slow to 30 if I wanted the locker so I dismissed it thinking it'll only come on if I...
John will often take a few minutes to teach you a few things when he’s setting up your bike. He’s done a couple of mine and I’d recommend him.
Joe Skidd has done one of my bikes and is also excellent.

Regine Tugade-Watson in the 100m track. She lost but yummy! Bonus points if you find her “Made in Hell” tattoo ;)
The US sprinters (male and female) all look and act like lil Wayne.
