Easier just to pick the few peeps that irritate you and set your preferences to ignore them. I see the posts from the helpful interesting people, I block the ones with the “whatever I say is always correct and you’re wrong if you disagree” attitude.
Easier to live happy when you leave drama...
The other nice thing about off-road is the extended season. I can comfortably ride trails at 2c but I won’t ride street at that. Plus I’ll take crashing in the trails over crashing at the track anyday.
Solid day of fun in the Ganaraska today in the big bike. New rear tire rocks. Leaves are...
I think Tammy still does some Reddawn trackdays at TMP which is much closer to you than Shanny. That could be an option for you. Shannonville lapping days are often "open" meaning they don't always do groups so you're free to do as many laps as you want. That's good or bad depending on the...
I haven’t planted anything since we built this house. I built gardens after I did the interlock the end of ‘22 and then we had a couple people do garden suggestions/layouts for us and we narrowed down the design this Summer. I spent the past two days prepping the gardens and planting...
Thanks I appreciate those tips. Did you go all the way up to Long Point? I understand accommodations are limited but are they available enough that I don’t have to motocamp? I can make pretty quick miles even on gravel or bad roads so I was thinking of doing a hotel part way up for the first...
Had a rear tire to finish off before the new one gets installed Monday so hit some trails and power slides. Even aired down the one trail was too wet (sun reflection doesn’t really allow to see the 30’ long, 2’ deep mud hole beyond on this one. Most of the other trails and backroads were good.
The heck are you doing out here, that’s not BC?! PM me if you want an adv buddy as I’ve got a new Motoz Adventure going on that’ll need a workout on the 1290 and live by that forest.
I did the same run a few weeks back and my timing was the same. Left home at 7am and returned home at 7pm. 1,000km round trip. Good pace but did stop for a fair amount of breaks as well as going north of NB to do the 533. Hwy 17 is imo rather boring and I thought with it being so close to the...
Usually when they brine the roads but now that I'm doing more offroad riding I'm putting on a new rear tire next week and will likely ride pavement in small sections just to get offroad and will do that until there's too much snow in the trails to get the 1290 through.
The Home Hardware that I used to go to always charged $1 a cut. The HD that’s close to me now doesn’t charge for any cuts and does a nice accurate job (they ripped 3 4x8 sheets for me in 2’ sections when I made my built ins).
Trying out this one. Good reviews and I’ve been impressed with anything Craftsman lately (B&D owned but the ones I’ve gotten are solid).

No deals on Marketplace that I'm seeing. Saws are either $20 less than a new one or they look beat to hell. I'll just watch for a sale over the next month (will likely need one for a Fall project).
Following as I bought a used Mastercraft last year and quickly resold it as it didn't cut straight very easily. Seeing this thread and knowing I have some upcoming projects rekindles my want of one.
