Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

I picked up a Chevy 2500HD a few months ago and it came down to the Ram and the Chevy. The stereotypical Ram driver and public perception definitely came into play for the final decision.

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

I placed my order last night, so now the “just wait til it gets here” begins….. Thanks for the helpful feedback and leads on finding someone to work with. [emoji482]

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

If I could get the same package that I put together for the eco boost but in a hybrid, I would absolutely do that. The only reason for not going hybrid was the need for AWD. A plug-in hybrid would be even better! We’ll see what the sales rep says today. (Thanks for lead, @robertv19)

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I was looking at getting the eco boost motor as we need AWD and the off-road package for driving through fields - got the minivan stuck too many times last year and ended up using the 1500 a lot more than needed simply for the 4x4.

How much do you pay for insurance?

Be careful with your “best quote” claim. In order to say it, it should be true…..which it’s not.

How much do you pay for insurance?

Insurance for a new rider, in your 20’s, for a bike that remotely resembles a sport bike?

    Enclosed trailer hacks

Got this mid-last year for not much more than that. Holds 2 bikes very well and has some very nice amenities. But your RAV4 may struggle a bit with it….

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

One of our last work vans was an Odyssey and one of the current ones is a Caravan. The Caravan has spent substantially less time in the shop than the Odyssey and the repair bills are usually cheaper. I think Honda’s are great for personal use, but they don’t seem to be able to stand up to ‘work...

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

I’ve had the 2500 for about 6,200kms and my overall average is 14.2 l/100km. This includes roughly 10 minutes of warmup, running errands in and around Elmira and Waterloo, 1,700lb pallets in the bed, towing and the odd highway driving. Best I’ve ever done is 9.0 l/100km when I did a couple...

    Canada post rant

The union will protect them, that’s what it’s designed to do - protect the lowest worker.

    Canada post rant

Canada Post is a joke. It needs to be gutted and completely restructured. The only time we ship with them at work is if the customer explicitly requests it, and still insists on it when we tell them it’s a bad idea. I think their track record with actually delivering things is around 85%. We...

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

[emoji15] Jeeeesus! Your mileage is worse than my 2500 HD with a V8 diesel! You and SunnyD are doing a really bad job of trying to promote the Ridgeline! [emoji1787]

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

USD pricing is useless in this situation as we are in Canada. My pricing calculations are in CAD and compared the base price Honda to the exact XLT model I have priced out, which is what was stated. For fuel economy you have chosen the Maverick model with the worst fuel mileage in the entire...

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

    - Starting price for the Ridgeline is 28.6% higher than the nicely optioned XLT that I’ve priced out. - Fuel mileage, according to EPA combined economy, is 21% more than the Maverick. What numbers were you looking at to come up with “virtually identical”? That’s only 7.4% better than the EPA...

    PA motorcycle lift hacks

I got rid of the flimsy wheel chock that came with it and bolted on a Princess Auto chock. Makes the bike a lot more stable and much easier for getting the bike on/off.

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

There are a few decent dealers close by but I figured if someone here worked in sales they could have an easy sale. So far no takers. I’ll leave it for a few days and if there’s still nothing I’ll just place the order at my local dealer. I haven’t bought a new Ford before so it’s not like I...

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

I was told 24-36 month wait for new orders. Doesn’t matter to me really, the vehicle it’s replacing is a 2016 so I’ve still got time before I “need” something.

Anyone here work in sales at Ford?

Does anyone here work in sales at Ford within a reasonable distance from the Waterloo area? If you do, pm me with your dealer name/location and email address. Looking to order a Maverick for work. Might as well give the sale to someone in the bike community. And for anyone feeling the need to...
