Unable to open site without a VPN?

Recently Akamai has been having problems. Your issue may be DNS related. Internet is still recovering from that outage. One DNS may be relying on Akamai while the other is not. Vpns often have their own preferred DNS. Akamai is an internet caching service.

    E-mail replies

Emails are better for the "paper trail". As long as the email account is active, you will have a record. Sms and WhatsApp and etc are not ideal for permanent records as exporting them are a pain in the ass. If you lose your phone, and aren't on-top of your backups, good luck! If it is for...

    Rokform mount and case?

If wireless charging is not a concern, then any case and one of their universal mounts will work. Here it is on a Spigen case. I have the wireless charger on my bike so my current phone (Note 9) has one of their cases.

Need new track helmet, any recommendations?

I'm in the same boat. Looking for a cheap but crash safe track helmet. Gonna stick with a helmet with creature comforts like a drop down visor and cheap replacement screens for street. I'm probably reading the same stuff as you Priller as the Scorpion R1 Air Carbon has had glowing reviews but...

Every Thursday Group ride. Steels and finacial dr Mississauga

Yup, we had someone from KW. You gotta leave 'early' and not take the 4 series.

    cutting a windshield

Buddy cut his down and it looks great. More of a fly screen at this point and he spray coated it. Same issues as you described as he was too tall for the screen. A hacksaw and some files and sanding paper will do the job. We cut another windscreen a few weeks ago for a different bike so clip...

    Favorite "go-to" locations?

Some destinations. Sightseeing at Devil's Punchbowl (via Ridge rd). Lunch at Creemore (via 9 from 124). Bailey's Ice Cream in Erin Airplane watch at Pearson (Britannia and Convair)

    Avoiding fortnine now

Lice, Crabs. You got it mixed up. Chiming in late. Ride in it and its yours. Always been the case. And even if its not Fortnine, Revzilla Anthony's jingle about returns is burned in. And honestly, what are they supposed to do with a used helmet. Would you ever buy one that someone else...

    Oakville Area

If you mean the Oakville Assembly Complex, then its just one scenic sweeper on the service road. Do that a few times and security gets called. Not worth the travel to get there in the first place.

    Oakville Area

Also, Sulphur Springs and Mineral Springs may as well be unpaved for the several cm of gravel on top. Those are knobbie roads. edit: nevermind, your route isn't going through the landslide section. Its still slippery though!

    Oakville Area

Not to mention the people fishing on the Bronte Creek bridge. Its still fun doing it slow, and its great for routing. Its a great connector piece for the Britannia at Walker intersection cause it lets you go back to Appleby after doing 2 side rd when coming from Lower Base Line.

Can you ride on a empty tank?

It's not even the same type of pipeline that's been in the news for the last several years. Colonial does refined petroleum (gasoline) distribution. Refinery -> Local Distributor. This is the second last hop before retail. Not to be confused with Crude -> Refinery which is what the Canadian...

    New to Motorcycle

Or another way to look at it is this. Try and sell it at your RTI course. If someone had an MT-07 at the riding weekend for sale and one of the instructors were willing to give it a shakedown, I'd have bought it on the spot if the price was in the ball park.

    New to Motorcycle

If you are going to learn how to ride, an FZ-07 (now called MT-07) is one of the better choices. It's simplicity is its greatest asset, plenty of power, neutral appearance. Why sell it? Most riders would agree that the MT-07 is plenty enough bike for Ontario streets and highways. Another...

New tires for new season 2020 - options, supplier, installer

The Roadsmart 3's rear tire mileage is less when compared to the Road 5's but for the price, they are better value for touring. The Road 5's gave amazing feedback and confidence when leant over however. That feedback and confidence is what dictates my purchases. Another consideration is how...

    Test rides?

Every private sale is as much about the seller as it is the product they are selling. Its why used car salesmen can earn a decent living selling death traps. Another thing to consider. Is the buyer even going to know if something is wrong with the bike? What could they possible learn in a...
