Your views on Bennett's bike social, and why we don't have something like here

It doesn't exist here cause there's nobody who wants to sponsor it or pay for it, especially when competing with the US media market. It's a very chicken and egg problem too, with sponsors only coming if its successful, and to be successful you need sponsorship. It would take an existing...

    KTM Street Demo Tour 2023

They shoved all of the Ontario KTM dealers into one week in the middle of summer. There was maybe 3 weeks notice. They were all on week days. Got my test ride in, now I have two orange bikes in the garage!

    PA Loading Ramps on Sale

One of the reasons why I didn't feel the need to get the full set. The center portion to give you enough wiggle room, and one of the sides (not attached) to walk up. If I was riding it up, yeah, i'd feel a lot safer if I knew I had enough ramp to flat foot on both sides. 1500lbs rating on the...

    PA Loading Ramps on Sale

I have some black widow ramps. The ramped ends make it great for easy on and off. I have 1x of 7' 10 and I actually bought one end ramp off from 7' 10 from a friend so we both have a ramp and a half now which is all you need to walk a bike up. Also, those PA ones and styles like that, tires...

Using 5G Cellphone Hotspot for Cottage Internet

Keep in mind the peak weekend traffic when in season. Of course, this is time, location and neighbor specific.

    POLL: Cold weather riding...

For me, the question is about tire grip and what you are looking to get out of the ride. Below freezing on some sport tires and youll never get them warm enough. First ride of the season, sure, take it easy and cruise around. Every weekend at -5c looking for some adrenaline? Maybe time to...

Alibaba anyone order stuff from here

Just like Amazon, claims are paid out by aliexpress and passed on to the sellers. Its easy to get a refund cause its their reputation, not the seller's reputation.

Alibaba anyone order stuff from here

As mentioned earlier, Aliexpress is the consumer version. Lots of knock off stuff. Shipping times is hit or miss. Pre-covid and trade wars, I've gotten something in 3 weeks, and I've gotten something in 3 months. I've only ordered keytags from there recently and they arrived in 2 months...

    Duke 890 or MT09

Because it's the GTA where cruise is good. How long you have to go to get to some mediocre twisties and the long stretches of reduced speed limit community safety zones. Of course you turn it off when you get to the fun parts but there's huge gaps between fun. This isn't the Smoky mountains...

    KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas

For Moto3, Moto2 and Moto E, for sure. They are still funding the teams though.

    KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas

As long as it's not a case of buying a competitor just to shut them down, then its no harm no foul. As long as the 'fringe' products are strong and they don't just kill off entire segments, then what's the complaint really. Plus, the people complaining about orange colored bikes and ugly...

    Duke 890 or MT09

In the end, the whole 650-999 naked segment has lots of options with some targeting a dollar figure, and others targeting a performance figure. Honestly, anything will be good, 'cept the NC750.

    Enclosed trailer hacks

As long as you are outside the inner city and we're not talking too far south of the border, the most you need is steady airflow at night. A maxxair or similiar is more than enough. If its for a trials bike or dirtbike, the next best thing will be a Risk Racing footpeg mount. Less fuss...

    Enclosed trailer hacks

Not quite a trailer, but I went with L track, pitbull TRS and a wheel chock on the other side. Not always carrying just my own bikes. Magnet screen too, but I gotta re-do it. Not happy with the seal.

    Duke 890 or MT09

The 790 isn't really a hooligan bike though. They don't market towards that either. The 690 SMCR and 690 Duke are much more in that class. The 790/890 is a very stable naked bike. Their marketing dept was calling it "The Scalpel" and all the emphasis was on things like canyon carving. After...

    Duke 890 or MT09

That was my last time going there, and it had been a while before then. RIP. That's a photo tag picture anyways. It's either that or a temple in Brampton or license plate shots from the Dundas & 403 Tims. I was more trying to show the specific MT-09 I'm comparing to. It's not a hypothetical...

    Duke 890 or MT09

It's caused some mid trip refueling challenges a few times before I started pre-planning 200km fuel stops. Not an issue for the urban rider at all.

    Duke 890 or MT09

One other point that may no longer be the case with the new mt09 would be the fuel range. The range on the older mt09 was in the low 200's per tank. My 790 is in the mid 300's. This is mixed condition spirited riding. Babying it on the highway I've done 400km a few times. Not a huge problem...

    Duke 890 or MT09

I have a 790 Duke so its very similiar to the non R 890. I love it as a daily and a weekend bike. I've ridden a few of the older model MT-09/FZ-09 and while they definitely have more power than the Duke, the Duke is a much more exciting bike even when doing mundane things. 44,000km on it and...

What does $1,700 on an Akrapovic exhaust get you

Since when has a slip on been anything but a vanity exercise? Especially in the age of solid works or other equivalent flow simulation software. It's like someone took meticulous notes of a Yammynoob top 10 video and made a video response about it unironically.
