After just posting that I don't read much fiction I picked Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. It's a short novella, a classic and I just finished slogging thru the God Delusion so time for a bit of fluff.
New doors and windows went in and now while we're waiting for some new flooring might as well paint. New window needs new blinds hung and while we're at it how about upgrading all the old outlets and switches to Decora style.

Not my longest trip in distance or time but since reaching Caniapiscau means your as far from the nearest town by road** as you can be in North America it kind of felt like it.

A set of forks are lying on the bench clean, painted and assembled w/o seals or oil. Hope to get the seals and oil into them this morning. The mating triples are painted and waiting for me to order new bearings.
I'm waiting on some parts so I may pull the valve covers and check the valve...
