I clogged my toilet with Carrots! FIXED!!!!

I had to see at least the first few posts on this but man nothing beats a thread in 1 of the other motorcycle forums where the guy's post header is "I went down on a watermelon" ... you can imagine where that went. 🤣🤣

    2024 Demo Days

I was up in Creemore 2 weekends ago and on the way out saw the BMW Motorrad truck on a side street ... was thinking of an R18 Classic until I sat on 1 at a dealership before then ... heavy pig - no thanks.

    Running rich…Power Commander V question

You can always disconnect it too as the bike runs fine with just a slip-on (how my Scrambler was set up).

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

What did you do in your garage today..?

If you look at the inside of the Grip Puppies they actually have a clear coating on them so it's not the same foam-type of surface as you have on the outside but I hear ya ... I also had a heck of a time putting them on with soap & water to the point I thought I'd rip them and then said "ok it's...

What did you do in your garage today..?

The Grip Puppies aren't grips guys ... they go OVER your grips and are meant to not be as permanent as grips. I guess hair spray can't hurt but they go on tight (as attested to by Sunday Rider, and me too) and I've never had an issue with them moving one bit without anything to make them stick.

What did you do in your garage today..?

I've put a few of these over the years and WD40 is your friend. Spray the inside and slide them on. Same when taking them off - get a long screwdriver in and spray inside with those red long tips on the WD40 can. The WD40 eventually dries off and you're good. Before buying the Grip Puppies...

    Gaspe 2024

You going soft? ;) Seriously though, you might get more takers if you got more "reasonable" on your trips ... not everyone has the iron-butt drive you have (respect there) or wants to risk getting too tired near the end of a sunrise-to-sunset ride, etc..

    2024 Day Trips

Had Pirelli Mt-60S's on the Duc Scrambler (stock tires) and those are a great tire for mild off-roading (as well as on-road).

    Local Auto Thefts

Yeah the days of actually giving a description of someone that committed a crime are long gone - guess the criminals got all butt-hurt. I heard something on AM 680 this morning about a stabbing on a bus platform and here's the description you get: "they are looking for a male and female...

I've never heard of the soapy water thing ... aren't you just supposed to apply it a full strength?

What did you do in your garage today..?

Have you tried RainX for plastic? Now sure how long it'll last but if you anticipate rain, you can always buff some on before heading out.

That $2k quote on CTV was indeed for a manual up/down bollard with a lock key.

    Local Auto Thefts

Saw a clip on CTV News last night about bollards. They were interviewing a young guy about 24 y.o. from "Bollard Boys" ... he was saying it was about $2k to install. Not sure I'd trust those guys but I could be wrong.

What's to keep that TRX from mowing down the bollards? Somehow I suspect it'd be easier than plowing those 2 blocked vehicles enough to have a get-away.
