The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Having owned a 2019 Speed Twin (which I now regret selling and keeping a Suzuki GSX-S1000 instead ... what was I thinking!?) I agree but that was a 1200. I love the Speed Twin 900 too which is more comparable to that Moto Guzzi but have yet to test ride 1 of those.

On a classic-style I agree ... test rode one of these recently ... love the looks but the power was underwhelming.

Don't tempt me  ... now that you're doing longer runs I can see why you want something more suited to that - the Scrambler is not built for long distance.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

To be honest I actually miss my 2019 in Tangerine orange (same as MP's) ... it was so light & nimble and I was able to take it on dirt roads I've never been able to before or since. I look online every now & then but I preferred the lower bars it had from the Full Throttle model as well as the...

    2024 Day Trips

Glad you guys got out for a nice ride ... I'd already messaged back on Wed about being unable to make it so it wasn't me who didn't show up in case anyone was wondering. :)

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

With the way the masses appear to be now favoring hybrids, I wonder how long before GM comes out with a Gen3 Volt.

Two nights camping in Pennsylvania at Ole Bull State Park

Honestly, if we went back to the pre-cell phone days, I'd be perfectly ok with it.

    Ever had this happen?

Yep, happened to me when I bought my new 2019 Triumph Speed Twin in silver from GP Bikes. I didn't notice it until I was thinking of selling it a year later where the ownership GP gave me said it was red (they had that one on the floor too but I bought the silver). If it said it was also...

2 weekends in a row for MP!!?? You going for iron-butt status? :) I'll pencil it in ... MP, I believe we still have each others #'s so let's touch base later ... Barrys Bay weather looks perfect at the moment:

An advantage with the cooler weather too is you don't feel the engine heat roasting your thighs and nether regions ... c'mon Ducati, figure this out!

    2024 Day Trips

That's a heck of a run @mimico_polak ... I'd have happily joined given enough notice but already had plans. Go again in the fall and you'll enjoy the scenery 10 fold and with a buddy or 2 it is more enjoyable.

Anyone do the laser eye thing?

Where was that if you don't mind me asking and what's she think of it?

Anyone do the laser eye thing?

100% and I'm at the same place as you. When I did my Lazik back in 2005 I had better than 20/20 vision. Things have progressively changed such that I now have that exact scenario where my left eye is better for distance and my right up close and I'm getting by fine but I too see my close-up...

Anyone do the laser eye thing?

If you want to spend more and get perfect vision close to far away there's the lens replacement option where your natural lens is removed and an artificial one inserted (kinda like a permanent contact lens) ... I'm considering that but not quite yet as my close up vision is still "ok".

    2024 Demo Days

Gotcha, although there are fans of both from what I've read and seen online ... I was going to take a Challenger out but it's more bike than I really need and I think I prefer the option of no windshield or windshield so the bikes with fairings are out ... although that may change in the future.
