Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Not EXACTLY entrapment... the RCMP have high priced lawyers to advise, so they don't actually entrap anyone... but in these cases there would be no crime or no conspiracy to commit a crime without the RCMP. Just look at the Nutall/ Korody case in Victoria. These idiots got a film deal out of the...

    Does the car you drive...

If the car you drive reflects who you are, I have done irreparable damage to my reputation... I have driven some REALLY awful cars... and bikes. Mostly, if it got me there, that was good enough.

    Does the car you drive...

Does the car you drive represent WHO you are? If so I think I screwed up... again. My summer beater is a '84 Cutlass Supreme BROUGHAM. I inherited it, it was a friend of mine's car and it was very important to her, it was more than a car, it was a expression of her fortitude (yeah, there's a...

    Dry ice blasting?

    Dry ice blasting?

NEVER media blast anything that isn't going to be meticulously cleaned afterward. The CO2 is clean, but the stuff you just blasted OFF the motor is not. If you blast an intact motor you're blowing dirt INTO the crevices... and you'll also knock off the layer of oxidization that coats the bare...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Not really a problem IF he knows what he's doing, he can work around it IF he knows how... Backlash is something you grow into, you don't wanna START there. Just look at the feed screws, if they're worn they'll be more worn in the middle of travel, it'll be obvious

I worked at a taxi company who's phone number was close enough to a popular local pizza place. the phone operators were instructed to take the pizza order and act like there was a pizza coming. The best part was when they called back looking for their pizza

    Rising prices/labour

Advice/Help on Engine Rebuild of an '03 GSX750F Katana

In "an engineering sense" if you rub the head on any three stones, you will eventually get a perfectly flat surface, PERFECTLY flat, like microscopic flat Lapping a head is sorta like ring hone. It is just as much surface prep as getting PERFECTLY flat. Old fibre head gaskets don't need surface...
