Short update:
Went to the fracture clinic today and the doc said I have an avulsion fracture on my 5th metatarsal (the first joint of the pinky finger from the ankle). The ligament just dislodged from the joint and chipped a bone fragment.
At least one more week of no walking.

Hey.. Get well soon.. I remember my second night after the fall. The pain was everywhere- woke up every 15 minutes as some part suddenly throbbed.
We fall, we get up, we learn, we ride.
I had a lapse of judgment and went out with sneakers. My right foot slipped while pulling the bike out of a parking spot and my right ankle got pinned under the bike. The jacket and the helmet also took quite a hit from the fall. Adrenaline got me up and ride back home, but after relaxing for a...
I've made it my duty that if I'm behind a crash regardless of the vehicle I'll stop to block the vehicle and if possible start waving my emergency red cloth to alert on coming vehicles (used to do it in India, but in not sure about the laws or how people would perceive it here.)

Ok. Ok. I think I might have used clearing my head in the wrong sense. It's like this. If I'm having a ****** day at work, I just can't stop the chain of thought about it. Putting myself in a situation where I can't think of anything else than the job at hand is the only way. So yes, a ride...
Riding is an activity that clears my head when I have a rough day at work. Today was such a day and I decided to take a longer route. The plan was to get on to 403 at Hurantario then get on to 401 to 427, shop some at Ikea, get on to Gardiner and Queen's and get home. It's not the first time I...
Also, it's an overestimation of how big the hole will become. It'll expand just enough that you need enormous force to push the plug in. And if physics does its thing, the plug will heat up while you ride and with pressure, gets glued all over the hole.
