    Who's still riding? Fall & Winter 2022 (& 2023!) edition!

I salt the roads in York Region. Everything from Steeles Ave. to Lake Simcoe got a generous coating of salt last night. The roads were dry this morning for Tom, but salty as hell.

    Wawanesa cut ties with NFP

My TD renewal just came in at about 100 bucks less than last year.

    Which Rotella

Mmmm. I always loved the smell of burnt bean oil at the Copetown Motocross races.

So it's that time again....winter pasttimes?

And unlike Lego, those little metal bits can possibly be repurposed. Here's an underwater camera housing my Dad built in the 1950s, using a pressure cooker. The gear and chain to turn the focus ring are genuine Meccano.

If your house is anything like mine, eventually all those little pieces end up in one big bin.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Keep it and have fun. It's paid for. (I think) But, at the risk of diverting from the thread, here's a wee tip for you. One of my riding buddies died last year. He was a short legged fellow, and left behind two nice bikes that his wife wants to sell. One is a fully decked out Triumph Tiger...

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

That was exactly what I was thinking. I like sushi, Citizen watches, and I ride a Jap bike, but that's as far as it goes. IMO, they've followed the Swatch example and jumped the shark. Well, OK, they (Japs, not Citizen) make some nice cars too.

They're sure not saying much about it. I wonder what they're trying to hide. That would be a fun plinker for the back 40!

    Another Mike Holmes Stinker (Meaford)

I used to work for a renovator, years ago. We had several guys like that that got jobs for us. They are salesmen. That's all. They get the contract, then find people to do the work.
