Yep. @TK4 is now riding around somewhere, out there rubbing his nuts on the same seat I used to rub my nuts on, and loving it.
He's loving the bike I mean. Not the part about our nuts rubbing... Not as far as I know anyway.
About a month ago I bought a 2019 Harley-Davidson Iron 1200. We do a lot of two up riding so I had to buy a two-up seat for it, because rear seat sold separately, and this started a domino effect of mods:
If you buy a two-up seat you'll also need passenger pegs, because also sold separately...
Riding across Italy 1.5x in 2023 won't win me the "Most Cross-Country Ride Miles" contest
...but it might make me a strong candidate for the "Best Fed Cross-Country Ride" contest 🤤
Wait, why is my motor glistening?! Oh for **** sakes...
Quick backstory for context: I wasn't planning on buying an F750GS. Someone was leaving the country permanently, needed it sold, and we literally did the deal the night before he was leaving Canada for good the following morning.
Part of...
All that ^, plus, who knows what their distribution is like. Maybe those get shipped directly from a manufacturer who just lists them on Temu. No idea. They're also on Ali and Amazon too.
I get where you're coming from though @robertv19 - I posted the video in a few facebook groups and forums...
I sold my 2006 F150 earlier this year, with 326,000 km on it. I got $3,000 for it sight unseen within hours of listing it. Try not to think about what that truck with 150k km you gave away would've sold for lol
I understand completely. Never having to have another useless meeting with another ******* "expert" from Deloitte was one of the best perks of going self employed lol
Yessir, you got it.
I had one of the old parallel twin GS from the generation before this... As a bike, it was, completely fine... It was just so ******* vanilla though. Like a girl who's boring in bed, but doesn't give you any issues. You're sitting there thinking "This is okay, this is...
Nope, but given how poorly the BMW headers themselves hold up on these bikes it's not really a concern haha. Are you suggesting just a water test or is there something else I could do?
I came across a few people while reading up on this on forums who have had them for years. The longest...
Customers are literally the hardest and worst part of the industry. Not the 80% that are cool. The 20% that give you 80% of the headaches.
I guess that's probably a lot of industries in hindsight...
There's a sweet spot, the goldielocks of exhaust volumes, not too quiet, not too loud, juuuuust right.
And I found it on this bike without having to spend hundreds of dollars... I was really surprised.
You could say I was...
Baffled!
(har har har)
I did my first ever resonator delete mod. I really like it, and it costs only about $50-60 CAD, which is perfect because I'm cheap AF! haha
On the BMW F750GS, the resonator box is located between the catalytic converter and the muffler. It's about an 8 lb box that silences the sound and helps...
Asked the missus, she said go with the home made burger. She can't remember what it's called but it's good. Family run place for the last who knows how long. They do it right.
There's a sweet spot somewhere. It's gonna vary a lot, depending on where you're at in life, especially with the way housing keeps going up every year.
If something happens when you're young before you're a homeowner, now you need to not only catch up to the market, but overcome a financial...
