Felines in Need - For the People who Love Pets

So, apparently a house was relieved of 39 cats in Hamilton - all were in terrible condition, with many needing eye removals due to infections. If you can spare a few bucks, or spare some extra love for a potential companion who has had an absolute **** run of luck for their lives…...

Well.... They are the current MODERN DAY Goliath without a doubt. They're dominating like never before. Can't fault them for their innovation and the likes - GiGi Dalligna has been the driving force in pushing their limits. I still wonder how much Aprilia kicks themselves in their collective...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

The bike is actually very good… Buddy didn’t have the valve adjustment done at 24k km as prescribed as it’s ridiculously expensive with the VVT system Honda used. He’s got over 50k km on it now and it’s strong as ever. I do agree with the 250km on a tank thing though - they screwed that up for...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Buddy has one... he's an animal on it. 12 minute runs of the Dragon from Deal's Gap to the Overlook. Mind you, he made a few minor tweaks to make it what it is. The stock configuration absolutely neuters the bike under 6k (?) RPM in first or second gear. Makes it take off slowly and wallows a...

In a way I really hope he wins the championship. I've never been a fan of MM93, and Ducati really seemed to screw JM89 over with the way the contracts were signed. This is just a personal opinion based on what I've read on several different sites, so I could very well be out in left field. All...

Craft Beer: What are you drinking now??

All of the large bottles by La Trappe are amazing. Love their stuff....

Will this help HD attract younger buyers??

The *ONLY* HD I have ever been somewhat interested in was the original Bronx Streetfighter model… then they changed the specs… then they removed it from upcoming models. If they *TRULY* want to expand their market, they need to do more than the usual huge big fat cruiser models (the only...

Craft Beer: What are you drinking now??

Not a fan of most of their beers, but I do really appreciate the Amber. The dark is decent enough. But that’s about it. For a bargain basement beer they brew, Laker Red is actually surprisingly good. Rivals Rickard’s Red in many ways. For the price difference, I’m happy to buy the Laker Red.

Dear America: GET A GRIP !!!!

So hand them out in cereal boxes as special prizes? If you would have said, “Make it as tough to get a gun permit as it is to get a Western European drivers license” I would have been on board.

    Pirelli SC3 Tire Review

Pirelli SC3 WSBK hard compound on a GSX-r750. I’m not complaining that they didn’t grip - they gripped very well. Tire wear pattern looks great. No issues with that. I’m just surprised that it wore that much faster than the Metzeler TD.

    Pirelli SC3 Tire Review

Hello Everyone... Just thought I'd give my thoughts on the Pirelli SC3 tires. Put them on after I took off the Metzeler TD tires that I destroyed at Mosport (see earlier review in the forum). Took them to Grand Bend a couple of days ago and put them through their paces. First off, the grip is...

    Did you exercise today?

I exercise every day... unfortunately, it's part of my job... For those that don't know, I'm a postie in Guelph. I average 29K-34K steps a day - 24-28km or so. Carrying up to 35 pounds, doing tons of stairs and hills. Most people think that we leave the depot with our mail bags full, and that's...

    Metzeler Track Day Tires

Well, I couldn’t resist their prices from a certain dealer in Montreal, so I had to give them a whirl. First time out was for an easy day at Grand Bend. Unfortunately, my rear tire warmer crapped out and I had to follow the general warmup procedure. Metzeler claims the tire doesn’t need...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

    OK, so let’s say we have 12 flyers… for a 900 point of call route. 12 x 900 = 10,800 Flyers in 3 days. 10,800 X 0.18 = $1944 in charges to the customers. 10,800 X 0.012 = $ 129.60 payment to the postie. $1814.40 to Canada Post. Let’s say we take off $50 for the junk mail processing. That’s an...
