Well the displacements in the 300 class are not very different but the HP range is pretty wide. The CB300 had 24 hp and the MT 42 and it was quite noticeable. It's also weight as well. The attraction on the Vstrom is the seating and the off pavement ability. Power is about the same as the CB300...
