So I have put the BMW up for sale at $5450....I have a window of 7 months before rego runs out - there is nothing further I need to do to the bike beyond the front brake.

Yeah a bit better than the Honda D'Eauville...perhaps the most boring bike I've had but I made good coin flipping it.

Okay this was disconcerting. Front brake seems to lose hydraulic pressure as I was coming down the range, lever gets close to the bar - pump a bit and pressure returns - front end pogos a bit as coming to a stop. Initially put it down to longer suspension

Thanks - up at Skybury - a 75 km shakedown cruise with some mild traffic, twisties up the range, lights, people and traffic through Mareeba and 100 kph runs at 110. I was reading that the bike runs pretty true speedo indicated to actual. Will dig out a GPS app.

Well, same 144, after dark with one turn signal to light the way on my RD400.

I finally ghosted behind a car ( there are NOT many at night on 144 ) and got into Sudbury suburbs and found a street light to change the fuse.
Not quite done with storage. Tank bag works the charm and the little tool bags on the sides very useful.
Have to figure out how the quadlock works. Likely won't bother. I'll use the one from the eBike.
