    Olympics

I agree. Although there is some athleticism needed to stay on the horse. I suggest they split the olympics to one year of events that require judging, and a different year for events that anyone can determine a winner, races, high jump etc. The difference between the men's and women's mat...

    Cagers and how they drive.

Yeah, Mine was probably due to wheel balance issues. it was more a little side to side wobble. It was either my Peugeot U08 or my Bottecchia.

    Cagers and how they drive.

I grew up in Ottawa and rode those hills regularly in High School. Got going very fast sometimes, but then the speed wobble would kick in and scare the **** out of me.

    Being caught afterwards

Found this in https://www.attorneygeneral.jus.gov.on.ca/inquiries/cornwall/en/hearings/exhibits/Wendy_Harvey/pdf/59_CNH.pdf "On the issue of an accused's right to face one's accuser, the Supreme Court said that this is not an absolute right, and absence of face-to-face confrontation during trial...

    Being caught afterwards

Bitzz, that's kind of what I figured, but I couldn't find it explicitly referred to in a quick search. My concern when I was looking for it was related to bylaw stuff. Our local municipality says they only look for violations (noise, fires, trailers etc.) when reported to them. I don't...

    Being caught afterwards

I believe "right to face your accuser" is an American thing and not in Canadian law. I tried looking it up a while ago and couldn't find proof of it in Canada. I may be wrong however.

Are you saying vaccines don't cause autism? JK, I agree with what you say.

    Gypsy Moths Everywhere

Years (decades) ago there was an infestation of spruce budworm (I think) out west. The caterpillars were so thick in the Peace river valley that the trains couldn't make it up the slope because the squished caterpillars were so greasy.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

    My All-time favorite as well.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I also have some "Mall" tools. My Dad had a Mall saw, and one of my professor's Dad's was a Mall rep. When I saw a mall tool in his lab I mentioned my saw, and he was so impressed that I had even heard of them he gave me all the old stuff his Dad had left when he died. Got another saw, drills...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I put my concrete cutting blade on the old Skilsaw and that's all I use it for. The dust doesn't seem to bother it like it does with a newer saw. Also, it takes a bigger blade than my Bosch.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I have an old Skilsaw that my father-in-law bought just after the war. All metal, thing weighs a ton. He gave it to me when he bought a new, lighter (read: more plastic) one. The brushes went on it a few years back and I went into the local fixit guy. He knew that the brushes were the same...

    How often do you ride?

Mine's a commuter, so most days, unless it's pissing rain. I don't have the gear for that unfortunately.

    Gypsy Moths Everywhere

My neighbour has put tuck tape on, sticky side out, on the few trees he cars about. He goes out every so often and brushes the caterpillars off the area below the tape into a bucket of soapy water. Some get by the first layer of tape, but he has another higher up, and another at the joint...

    Is Doug ford done?

Don't be too sure about NDP supporting unions. They say they are, but back when Bob Rae got surprised and forced to make a government, they came down hard on the government unions and set them back a few years. Right or wrong I won't get into, but it shocked a bunch of NDP/Union supporter...

    vaccine poll

My wife's in getting her second shot right now. When I had mine, I had to go back to the other pharmacy site and cancel my existing appt through their site, no link between pharmacies. On the subject of bordering opening, I heard some places in the states aren't accepting double AZ jabs as...

    Where to get a puppy?

My brother's got two Aussie's. Both are shitheads. To be fair, he didn't get them as puppies, but they crap in the house, and bark incessantly. Can't stand them, and I love dogs.

    vaccine poll

I had to look up TDSB. It was funny because I make spreadsheets for a lot of things. Did one for my urine output when deciding on dosages for my prostate meds. Too much information?

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Yes. If you can not use it during high price time, you might save some money, but only if it works flawlessly and doesn't cost you anything in maintenance, due largely in part to the extra initial cost. You can buy a lot of electricity for the delta there. We considered on-demand, but it...
