You would be surprised with what technically passes. This is why some techs will pass vehicles easier than others. Most techs add in a little bit of common sense and even though something can pass by the book they will still fail it because in reality is unsafe.

One of my riding buddies had an 01 cbr929 fire blade and I think he was around $270/mo in his late 20s. He bought a zx10r this year and it went up quite a bit. The 929 was a great bike with more power than you’ll use on the street. Worth looking into.
