Pocket motorcycles - looking for parts

yes I will first get it going, no sense in spending cash on bits if the thing don't even work and run..... if it does, off to the races...... it's not a button, it's a 3 prong port, I think it was 3 prong, but it's definitely not a button....... so battery is required, it's a small battery...

Pocket motorcycles - looking for parts

plastic white fuel tank, brittle, it's why it cracked, and has a chunk missing, so not repairable. I know it's not worth much if anything, but the thrill is to fix it, get it running I don't know if it will or won't run without the battery, or all the electronics in place, it has good...

Pocket motorcycles - looking for parts

don't want to do much with it, just get running, not really my thing, but I like to tinker, original tank would be great, as the plastics will go back on with no issues or modifications. I have no experience with these bikes, they don't look very complicated, so just a bit of fun for a few weeks.

    Rolling Chassis In Apartment

Agreed, but to make it easier, and have the landlord stop her frivolous complaining, a couple of box's and some cardboard wrapped around the bike parts, could help in shutting her up as far as I am concerned, I would tell her to STFU and ignore her ramblings, wait for the official papers to be...

    Rolling Chassis In Apartment

Put all parts and bits, and anything to do with the bike, in box's, or wrap up in cardboard, so one cannot tell what is in there, and tell her it's stuff, none of her business what's in the box or packaging, could be stuff you just ordered online, or stuff you are getting ready to be shipped...

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

Street bikes don't go through the same stresses as your trials bikes , so typically the slurry will hold up for a long time, usually the part breaks in a whole different area, and not where the repair was done. .

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

yes the white and black stuff you see that is gooped on is the slurry, add enough acetone to melt the ABS/Lego and make it almost a paste consistency here is the front view, with some bondo work and primer 1985 YAMAHA FZ750 Rebuild Project and the finished part now painted 1985 YAMAHA FZ750...

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

but you don't want to just fill the crack, it will just fall out, you need to bond the crack back together, or it will just continue to crack if you just make the slurry and spread it along the back of the crack, this will at least stop the crack from spreading as it will fuse the panel...

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

get some lego or black ABS pipe, break into small bits, get some acetone, mix together, on the back side of panel dremel out the crack a bit so it has a V shaped notch, apply the slurry to the area, let dry, and your good to go, on the outside, you can apply a bit of bondo to the crack to fill...
