2 places had a tire in stock, none could do a simple one-wheel tire change with most of a day's notice.

Actually far from a dick move, this was smart - he made his left turn without obstructing anyone and saved people behind him time.
Once again, the original poster of the videos proves they are whiney and pathetic.
Most of this stuff is incredibly tame and not video-worthy; whoever is making the video comes across as a massive ***** who probably shouldn't be on the road to begin with.
While I agree with the sentiment of your post - blocking people from splitting, or really blocking people from doing anything on purpose with your vehicle is grounds for HTA 172 seizure.
If some LEO saw this whole situation go down though I don't think he would be charging the car driver.

Ok as someone who is in favor of lane filtering even where its not legal, I have to say this guy probably shouldn't be doing it - if its me, I would just go around the guy on the other side and forget he exists...don't sit there...
Both are dangerous, both should be punished. Passing in a way that people wouldn't normally expect is more dangerous than blocking the road, but not much more wrong from an ethical perspective.
A difference of intention but not of the end-result; being ignorant while driving is in itself...
The fault is more like 60/40 or 70/30 - you can't use the rules of the road as an excuse to be a passive aggressive ********* that attempts to keep people from passing.
I see it on the roads everywhere but so far out of all the places I've been, Ontario is the worst for this...people speed up...
In some of these posts the frustrated drivers are well justified in taking normally unacceptable actions to bypass the people creating dangerous traffic obstacles.
