Heading to Acadia National Park from Toronto. any sites/roads that I should hit up there or along the way?

Better to ride from Oregon south or from Los Angeles north? My plan has been to ride from Toronto to LA and then up the coast but someone told me that it's more beautiful to ride down the coast because then you have the ocean right by your side. Those of you in the know: thoughts?

I like to wear glasses while riding, even in a full face. Sunglasses day, clear/yellowed at night. I've tried a few brands and I always find they get scratched easily and then I have to chuck them. Including the expensive WileyX. Any suggestions for a brand that isn't so easily scuffed-up?

I've never been to Boston and thought it would be a good short-trip destination. I figure a day riding there, 4-5days in town, and a day or two riding back. Any advice/suggestions on routes from Toronto, places to stay, places to avoid, things to do? Will be going at the end of May.

Lots of huge chunks of mud, particularly on the East side as you approach Kirby Side Road. My front wheel just met one of these huge mud blobs as I was turning onto Kirby; sure gave me an adrenaline surge. It seems there are new deposits of this mud every day from the dump trucks in the area lately.
