Heading for Rome on the weekend.
Should be interesting, but was supposed to be just fun. Our trip to the Vatican on Tuesday might be canceled, but we haven’t heard back yet.
Hope I don’t get bumped out of my room by Carney or Trump’s entourage. I had thoughts of renting a bike, but I wont risk it during the influx.

Hold on to your wallet tight. I mean that literally as Rome has lots of pickpockets.

The food! it's fantastic.

Hey maybe they will pick the new pope while you are around, which might impact your visit to see the Sistine chapel.

Watch out for cabbies. They drive like crazy people

I’m sitting in South Africa at emperors palace looking at a statue of Cesar dressed up like the Easter bunny

Rome is an easy place to spend a week , the Collosium, tons of museums, statues and cathedrals galore . And you will eat very well if you allow yourself some latitude . House wine in many places is the price of bottled water so dont get that wrong . Its a beautiful time of the year , have fun.
