Like the title says, looking for a good vet. We live in Pickering and willing to travel reasonably if the vet is good.
We have a vet, jury is still out on how good they are. In my mind they have **** the bed and it is time to leave.
What I mean by **** the bed...a week ago, we were advised a miracle would be needed to save our dog so we booked a euthanasia for the following day. Dog seemed to make a bit of a come back, although mild, and we arrived at our appt but this time saw the vet tech that advised he had a "raging" UTI. This was not disclosed when we were told our dog was in serious trouble. A few days and antibiotics later and the doggo is pretty well back to normal.
$1300 to diagnose and treat a UTI.
We need a vet that can treat a dog when sick. Any recommendations are welcome.
