I remember thinking the same about Tron Legacy, then I watched it and the kids and I love it.

Don't mind the change. Glad it wasn't mubble rap or flavour of the month "talent" chosen for music.
Apparently this film has gone through some script and cast change overs since Legacy. It's Disney so the theme of "AI is coming to destroy or save you" seems be the hot topic here.

Loved Trent Reznor's work on the Quake soundtrack. I think he'll do the new Tron movie justice.
Honestly I've never been a Daft Punk fan and will happily welcome NIN doing the soundtrack. They have some amazing live stuff if all you know is the couple radio played songs.Daft Punk soundtrack/cameo replaced by NiN and Morbius

I'd recommend you watch the other two first, but that's just me. If you do, make sure you get a well-upscaled version of the original to make the 40-year-old visual FX bearable.
