Drumbo track is closed because we held 4 practice days there and we never had more than 4 or 5 guys show up. It didn't cover the cost of insurance for the day.

Took my wife to the CMTS Yamaha riding school. She had 0 riding experience and loved it. Great group of instructors there.

For a beginner I would suggest riding at Paris. Smaller 1/8 mile track. They run practice every Tuesday night from 7PM until dusk and they race on Friday nights. Here is there website. http://www.flattrackcanada.com/

Not 100% sure if the photo will load properly but the one of the reasons for the knee/foot out is to pick yourself up from a low side. I haven't studied riding positions, I just do what is somewhat comfortable and what works. I am on the KTM here and my foot is not as far forward as most riders...
