If you are talking in club racing, someone being able to run up front on old junk, then not really....I mean no question that Kellen is a great rider, but the latest crop of Lost Era bikes are so close performance-wise to the new stuff, that every single weekend, there were Lost Era bikes...

Sucks that Kawi waited so long to release this info. Last yr people were asking about it and nobody had any aswers. At the Jan bike show people were asking about it and if they were gonna sell off the already prepped loaner bikes from last yr's exhibition races- again no answers. Kinda late...

My nephew raced all season in his 5 golves . MSRP was over $200- he got them on sale at Speedwprx/racer5 for $79.99. They held up well in a few crashes....and still look new, despite a number of 3 hr endurance races in the rain.
