If your inseam is tall enough to ride it, keep it. There are few bikes that can match it for its reliability. A KLR is good at almost everything but great at nothing. That's the charm.

Driving home from work last night (March 8) at 11:24pm I spotted a rider doing well over 120km/h westbound on the 401 in Courtice. It was -1c at the time. That was the first bike I've seen this season.
