Ya I'd just rather assume the battery is dead and price according to that with a new purchase of a battery.
EDIT: I guess there are also adapters for using my 18V RIDGID tools with the RYOBI line...but not sure that's the best route.
In all honesty, I'd love a riding mower for the cottage as...
Thanks @Mad Mike.
New carb installed - ran slightly better than before and didn’t die as fast. Still slow / low power.
New air filter installed - same time as new carb
Fuel - will check out the drain method and see if anything comes out
On another note…how could one verify if a used...
Fairly productive day….
Mowed the cottage as grass was up to the knees
Installed the new fan + light combo (how TF do electricians deal with these eenie weenie nuts and bolts)
And measured 110ft from cottage to post in the pouring rain.
Got some conduit
And a big up to the GTAMer that hooked...
Is it really THAT bad of a bike? My cousin had one and rode it a few times. I should ask him, but I don't recall him having many positive things to say about it.
The pool has been a resounding success…
Not 100% level.
But the water is clear, and very warm from the solar cover.
Kids love it.
Biggest issue is I don’t have time to sit in there with them.
Turns out I bent the bottom assembly when I snagged on the hydrant.
Straightened it out, and it works...but still struggles.
Was gonna go to the cottage tonight and take care of a bunch of stuff up there, but I'll go tomorrow.
- mow the lawn
- install a fan
- pick up some 4" conduit I found...
Anyone got some left over? Need approx 120ft (TBC) of 4” bell end PVC conduit.
Possibly 3/4” to 1” also as I’ve got some plans for a deck / gazebo in the plans.
Lots of RYOBI mowers out there for $100-150 but no batteries. Meaning I’d need to commit to a battery before I even try it as who knows if the unit even works or not.
Ridgid doesn’t make lawnmowers but there are adapters that can use my 18V to power RYOBI.
It was parked over the winter, worked fine 2-3 times, and then all of a sudden stopped. As if it’s not getting fuel.
I replaced the carb, and running better but still struggling. It got a bit better when I pressed the prime button.
I haven’t checked the fuel flow from the tank yet.
It was sputtering. Would go very low on power, sputter, and die.
Was used a handful of times already this year and no issues…until last week.
I need to get up there soon as I don’t feel like getting a warning from the municipality for grass that’s too long.
Well I think that mower is dead.
Replaced the carb and air filter and still it’s barely running. Better than before the replacements, but very weak.
Then I snagged the cable on a fire hydrant as i wasn’t paying attention and…it died.
FML
now to fix or replace?
Electric or gas?
It’s a Toro...
