Since moving out East I have a whole new set of Micro Breweries to discover. Some are so small they should more rightly be called Nano Breweries. Have started developing a taste for Porter. There are so many to try here - bonus is they are always at local farmers markets , as are local...
Totally agree about kidney shaking. We we worried about NS roads when we moved here in June but that Hwy 30 has them all beat. In terms of time - yes there were some road works but no major delays. Went through around 10:00am
There's a reason it's also called Whack, F@#$. Best part of golf is playing in best ball tournaments with some good buddies and enjoying some adult beverages
Moved to NS about two months ago and it is so much more than just the coast and the Cabot trail. There is so much beautiful countryside and with not much tourism this year then places and roads are not busy at all. There has been a lot of work on the roads as well it seems as many are just...

Heading out to NS this week to start the next phase of life's great adventure. Quarantine and then get the new home set up. Bike is shipping out in July so should be riding around soon after. Not sure I'll be testing the speeding theory right away though :)
We bought a 7 year old home on half acre lot. Home is 3ooo sq feet with a double and a single garage - waiting for more bikes to fill it :). Cost us $450K. Plan is to live there for about 5 years and then do the more secluded , land with a lake or ocean view thing.
We bought a place in Kingston - pending govt approval we leave Ontario on June 10th. Take a couple of days to drive there and then do the two week quarantine to be out in time for Canada Day
The last few months have been consumed with selling our house and buying a place in Nova Scotia. 16 years in a house leads to a tonne of crap to be sorted, sold, disposed or packed. Spare time has been spent
- Binge watching foreign shows on Netflix
- Using Spotify to discover new music and...
Back in University a buddy and i decided to grab some pedal bikes and some heavy duty mops and have a go at jousting in the dark. First pass was ok , second one he caught me full in the face. The alcohol level in my body ensured I felt no real pain but vison was a little blurry in one eye...
