R and W for heat, You can go for either RH or RC if there’s a jumper

My guess is it should be a Millivolt TStat. Old school 2wire, could be a battery operated stat. But it’s not getting power from 110, no control boards or set down transformer in that unit.

When pilot is on, valve in on position, TStat jumpers red- then put a jumper on the gas valve where the thermocouple red/white wires are. That’ll show if thermopile is the issue

Your correct, 110 is only for the fan.

Also Timtune, both your photos show gas valve off or in pilot only mode.. Once you light pilot, and pilot is holding you have to rotate black knob to “on”for unit to work.

First make sure all connections are tight, If you remove the blue marrets and twist the black wires together, that will bypas the TStat. If burner lights you have a bad TStat or TStat wire issue.(loose connection, broken wire) I would also just wire TStat wires right to gas valve, not sure why...

Not to sidetrack the thread, but curious, $3800 for the 08 KLR, do you think that’s a fair/ reasonable price? Mines a 2011 with more accessories (and milk crate) and I was going to list it for about $4400. Would you think that’s reasonable? I’d hate to end up in a “ stupid over priced...

My current bike has kinda the same issue with leg room, but it has highway pegs attached to the engine crash bars to let me stretch out the legs. This could be an option you could add to a cb500 or Vstrom to stretch out.
