I already changed the coolant so you are no help to me..

How do you not understand. Which items are a serious threat to safety while riding. Obviously coolant is not. The subframe is bent ever so slightly, maybe sitting on a 1 degree angel. I don't feel this to be a huge safety issue. I am not sure exactly what a birdcage upper fairing support is but...

I was too busy at work to bring it in today. I am going to try for tomorrow but most likely wed I will get it in. I will update when I get news.

That's what I didn't understand. I brought a Guy along who I met on Reddit to check out the bike with me. He checked everything and could not find anything wrong other than the back tire was worn out. I am going to get sturgess to draw up a bill for repair and than ill take it to another shop...

Everything is clean. No scuffs on the bar ends, pegs, and the fairings are mint.

I just bought a used sv650 and when I checked it out it looked to be in clean condition. Nothing was noticeably wrong with it. I was thinking maybe the back tire would fail the safety but that is it. I took it to sturgess and got a call today saying it failed safety and needs at least 1500 worth...

Yea I will probably end up dropping way to much money into it... Any idea why they discontinued the seat cowls? They are hard to find and are insanely priced

Just bought a used bike and the guy is driving it to my house on Wednesday. How do I go about safety, getting plates, stickers, insurance. In what order does this have to be done? I already got insurance lined up, do I need plates before they will put it on? Thanks!
